This article contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo

Following the conclusion of the popular series Jujutsu Kaisen, its sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, quickly became a hit for Weekly Shonen Jump. Although fans were eager for more of the story, Modulo is nearing its end. Now, the cover for the second volume has been released, showcasing the fan-favorite villain, Dabura, and the new volume will be available soon.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2 Cover Revealed

New Volume Features Dabura and Dura

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo has quickly become a hit for Weekly Shonen Jump, achieving impressive sales figures alongside popular series like One Piece. The first volume of Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo recently launched with a beautiful cover illustration by Yuji Iwasaki, featuring the characters Tsurugi and Yuka Okkotsu. Fans were eager to see the cover for the second volume, and Iwasaki’s new artwork once again delivered.

Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo were anticipating seeing Maru and Cross on the cover of Volume 2, as they are key characters in the series. However, the cover actually featured Dabura, along with his friend Dura in the background. Dabura’s story has resonated with many viewers, and he’s quickly become a standout villain – considered by some to be as compelling as Sukuna or Kenjaku, not just in JJK Modulo, but throughout the entire Jujutsu Kaisen universe.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2 Will Be Released On March 4, 2026

I’m so excited – the release date for Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2 is almost here! It’s coming out on March 4, 2026, which is incredibly soon! Considering how popular Modulo is in Japan – the first volume actually had to be reprinted because it sold out so quickly – I’m expecting this one to be even bigger. Now, a heads-up for all us international fans: that release date is for the Japanese version. We’re still waiting to find out when the English translation will be available, and honestly, it usually takes months, or even over a year, for these manga volumes to be translated. In fact, we still haven’t gotten an English version of Volume 1! So, it looks like we’re in for a bit of a wait, but it’ll definitely be worth it!

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Will Have One More Volume In The Future

Final Volume Could Feature Yuji Itadori And Maru

Following the release of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 2, it’s clear there will be at least one more volume in the series. While author Gege Akutami initially suggested a three-volume release for Modulo, they could decide to add more. The story is now reaching its peak, with the climactic battle between Dabura and Mahoraga underway, and Yuji and Maru preparing to finally resolve the issues within the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. The cover of the final volume will probably feature Maru and Cross, or potentially Yuji Itadori himself.

Fans are hoping Gege Akutami will extend the JJK Modulo story past Volume 3. While the current arc feels like it’s building to a conclusion, there’s still plenty of room for the story to continue for several more volumes – especially if Maru and Yuji’s plan doesn’t go as expected. Readers are eagerly anticipating the ending of the next volume and what Akutami has planned for the future.
