God of War Sons of Sparta Muse Chamber Solutions

In God of War: Sons of Sparta, players must defeat three Stymphalian birds. Each bird drops a feather when defeated. By taking these feathers to the temple in the Sanctuary, players can unlock three doors, each leading to a set of three Muse Chambers.

In God of War: Sons of Sparta, the Muse Chambers are optional challenge rooms that come in three varieties. Melete’s challenges focus on precise jumping and movement, Mneme’s require you to use your items and weapons creatively, and Aoede’s test your fighting abilities. If you complete all nine chambers, you’ll unlock a new area called The Drifting Spire and earn the Amusing Trophy.

If you’re struggling with the Muse Chambers in God of War: Sons of Sparta, it might be best to return when you’ve leveled up or found more upgrades. Getting the Nike Sandals can make the running challenges much easier, and simply being more powerful will help you succeed in the combat chambers.

Melete’s Race (Muse Chamber 1)

Muse Chamber 1 is a fast-paced section. If you’re skilled at grabbing onto ladders while jumping, the higher route is faster. Otherwise, stick to the lower path. Dodge rolling is the quickest way to move, especially at the beginning of God of War: Sons of Sparta, and it’s also essential for getting through narrow spaces.

Once you’ve finished the first area, look up – you’ll see a lever. To reach it, grab the wall on your right and jump back to the ladder, pressing Triangle as you jump to grab on. Then, jump to the lever and pull it. Finally, return to the left side of the room using the ladder to open the chest and collect the two pieces of Crude Ore.

Mneme’s Reflection (Muse Chamber 2)

Okay, so the Muse Chamber 2 is all about using your tools and switching between them fast! Here’s what I figured out: first, you need to use the vision from the Lycurgus Bust to look at the stone eye on your left. Then, jump up to that platform way over on the left side. From there, you can use the Solar Sling to hit the target to your left, which activates the moving platform you’re standing on. Ride that platform all the way up, then climb the ladder on your left. You don’t need to worry about the other platform for now.

Start by pulling the lever in the upper area, then use Lycurgus on the stone eye to lower yourself to the next moving platform. Wait for the platform to reach the top of its cycle, then jump to the right and use the eternal flame to burn away the thorns on the ceiling. This will reveal a target you can hit with the Solar Sling, which will activate the platform to your right. Pull the lever nearby before riding that platform upwards. Finally, you’ll reach the finish line and find a chest with two pieces of Crude Ore inside.

You could likely save a few seconds if you pull the second lever before stepping onto the platform.

Aoede’s Battle (Muse Chamber 3)

Muse Chamber 3 really puts your fighting ability to the test, and it’s likely the most challenging of the Razor Plume chambers. The enemies here are strong for this part of the game, so you’ll need to use all your abilities and items to defeat them quickly. While the first enemies are manageable, the final two are very durable and appear on both sides of the arena.

For an easier time, roll to avoid one of the final two enemies, positioning them close together. Then, use the Eternal Flame to hit both at once – if you’re lucky, the blast will damage them both. If you can defeat them within 45 seconds, go back to the entrance to find a chest with two pieces of Crude Ore inside.

Melete’s Course (Muse Chamber 4)

When you enter Muse Chamber 4, go to the ledge on your right and use the two moving platforms to reach the lever across the room. Once you’ve pulled the lever, use the platforms to return to the right side and climb the wall. Run to your left and perform a long jump to grab the wall – a double jump should help if you fall short. Climb up, then use two more moving platforms to reach the ledge on your right. You’ll find the finish line and a chest with a Durable Plate there.

Mneme’s Meditation (Muse Chamber 5)

The Muse Chamber 5 puzzle might seem confusing initially, but it’s quite manageable once you understand the steps. Start by dropping down through the ceiling, then turn right and climb the walls. You can speed up this climb with a double jump. Afterwards, use the eternal flame to clear away some thorny bushes. To destroy the second set of thorns, you’ll need to use the flame while you’re jumping.

Once you reach the top, roll through the opening on your left to descend one level. Then, shoot another Eternal Flame through the opening on your right, jump back up, and use your Lycurgus Bust to collect the Unsealing Mist. Drop down two more levels and use the Solar Sling to lower the grate on your right. This will let you return to where you started. Once there, use the Lycurgus Bust’s vision on the stone eye, then direct the Unsealing Mist into the pot on your left.

As you finish the course, turn left and stay on the higher path. Keep running to the left, then make a long jump to reach the finish line. If you succeed before time runs out, you’ll find a chest with a Durable Plate inside. Once you have it, head left to go back to the Frozen Plume corridor.

Aoede’s Clash (Muse Chamber 6)

Muse Chamber 6 is slightly easier than Chamber 3 because you have more time, and the enemies are well-spaced, preventing you from being overwhelmed. Focus on saving your Spirit and Magic for the bigger enemies on the upper right platform, and use Kratos’ dodge roll to your advantage. You should be able to complete the chamber with time to spare. After finishing it, return to the beginning to find a chest with a Durable Plate inside.
