How to Find the Zanbira Tree in The Sims 4

The Zanbira Tree can be found in the Dambele district of Ondarion, situated below the other districts on the map. It’s located next to the Hardcover area and directly across from the Darong residence, which is also called the Dambele Palace.

Simply looking at the Zanbira Tree is one way Sims can interact with it. The tree’s beauty will leave them feeling inspired and peaceful.

Recite

Players can improve their Sim’s Charisma skill by reading any book they own to the Zanbira Tree. Doing so gives the Sim the “Honored Ancestors” moodlet, which makes them feel more Confident. The moodlet describes the experience as the ancestors listening to the reading and feeling close to the Sim.

When Sims feel confident, they learn the Charisma skill more quickly. Players can keep reading books to the tree to maintain this confidence and get the most out of their Charisma training.

Ask for Ancestors’ Blessing

Players can also ask their ancestors for blessings, potentially receiving helpful items or rewards. Keep in mind, though, that ancestors aren’t obligated to grant these requests. Luckily, being turned down doesn’t have any negative effects, and Sims can try again after three hours.

As a longtime fan, I’ve learned it’s always a good idea to check out the sacred tree before you ask for a blessing. Apparently, the more you understand about it, the better your chances of actually getting one! Here’s a rundown of all the blessings you can get and what cool stuff you’ll receive with each one:

  • Ancient Wisdom:
    • Snaggle Fluster potion – A mythical recipe bought off a mysterious hermit. Drinking Snaggle Fluster grants Sims the Snaggle Flustered Dazed moodlet, which makes them learn skills considerably faster.
  • Dazzling Power:
    • Hip to the Max Cardboard Dance Floor
    • Crystal Slippers – Elegant shoes that radiate magic and mystery, perfect for a Grand Waltz. Wearing the Crystal Slippers will make a Sim ready for a Grand Ball event. Their magic lasts 16 hours, so players should make the most of it and make sure that they dance for Romance or Status, as it can lead to a promotion or a proposal if the dance is a success. Once the dance is over, the shoes will disappear.
  • Novel Romance:
    • Royal Frog – Adds the Royal Frog to the Sim’s inventory. If they kiss it, they can break the curse and turn it into a real person, who will ask them to marry them. However, if the Sim is already in a relationship, they will reject them, turn back into a frog, and disappear from their inventory.
  • Unbound Wealth:
    • Sentry of the Sea Falcata, Thorn of Roses Rapier, or Power of Many Sabre – Players can receive any of these swords when they ask for the unbound wealth blessing in The Sims 4. Each one is worth between 825 and 845 Simoleons, as they are quite rare. Gamers can either sell it or add it to their sword collection.
