Atomfall Gameplay and ‘World First Look’ Trailer Released Online

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for post-apocalyptic worlds and a nostalgic heart that yearns for the good old days of the 1950s, I can’t help but be utterly thrilled about Atomfall! The game feels like a blend of my two favorite worlds – Fallout and the United Kingdom, which is an intriguing prospect in itself. But what truly sets it apart is its roots in real-world events from that era.

Rebellion has shared an extensive, five-minute overview of Atomfall online, offering players a detailed glimpse into the captivating world they’ll be immersed in during this extraordinary and distinctive game. After playing Atomfall at Gamescom, I can confidently express that it is among my most eagerly awaited games – a sentiment not solely fueled by my deep-rooted love for the Fallout series.

Check out the latest Atomfall trailer below.

Prepare for Atomfall

Atomfall seems akin to Fallout, transposed to the United Kingdom, but it’s far more than just that. It has enough distinctiveness to separate itself from Bethesda Game Studios’ post-apocalyptic series, and this differentiation starts with Atomfall being influenced by actual events from the 1950s.

The game isn’t strictly a post-apocalyptic one; you’ll get a clearer understanding of that as you watch the video linked below.

In Atomfall, you’re given free rein to discover and endure within a ‘quarantined area’, but things aren’t always as they appear. Based on my experience at Gamescom, Atomfall is a game that promotes flexibility and multiple strategies, enabling players to employ their intelligence and the game’s core mechanics to accomplish goals in whatever way suits them best.

It’s also possible to kill absolutely everyone if you so desire, so that’s great.

The game titled “Atomfall” is scheduled for launch in March 2025 across platforms like PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series XS. A significant advantage for Xbox Game Pass subscribers is that the game will be available on its release day, a definite benefit for them.
