As a long-time Spider-Man fan since I was just a kid flipping through the pages of Marvel comics, this announcement has me swinging with excitement! The thought of experiencing the thrilling web-slinging adventures of both Peter and Miles on my PC is nothing short of electrifying.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man swings back onto our screens in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, set to release on January 25th, 2025, right here on PC! To make the experience even more swingtastic, there will be two versions available at launch for us gamers to choose from.
On the official PlayStation Blog, Aaron Jason Espinoza (Senior Community Manager at Insomniac Games) stated that they are delighted to reveal that a PC version of their game is being developed and optimized in partnership with Nixxes Software. This collaboration includes close cooperation between Insomniac Games, PlayStation, and Marvel Games.
As a gamer, I’m excited to share that there are two editions of this game: the standard version and the Digital Deluxe. The Digital Deluxe offers something special for me – it comes with a collection of 5 unique costumes for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, early access to certain suits and gadgets, and an additional 5 skill points to customize my gaming experience even further!
Julian Huijbregts, Community Manager at Nixxes, shares that working with Insomniac and Marvel Games to introduce Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to PC users has been an enjoyable journey. He looks forward to deepening this partnership and bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to the PC platform, complete with a range of advanced features such as improved ray-tracing options, tailored to maximize performance across different setups and configurations. Keep an eye out for future updates on specific features and recommended system requirements closer to the game’s release.
