Players of Cult of the Lamb can now earn a Platinum Trophy on PlayStation consoles. Although the game has been popular on PS Plus, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players have experienced some issues along the way.
I’ve been playing Cult of the Lamb since it came out and it’s seriously awesome – the developers have been adding tons of cool stuff over the last few years. Just recently, they dropped a big new DLC called Woolhaven on January 22nd, 2026, and everyone seems to be loving it. It’s a great expansion to the story, but unfortunately, PlayStation players have been running into some issues that are kind of ruining the experience.
Cult of the Lamb Update Fixes Broken Platinum Trophy
A new update, version 1.5.17, is now available for Cult of the Lamb on PlayStation 4 and 5. This patch addresses a variety of bugs, from small annoyances like repeated notifications to serious problems like game freezes and infinite loading screens. The update also includes balance changes, corrects item drop rates, and improves performance. A key focus of this update is fixing issues with achievements, ensuring players can fully complete the game and earn the Platinum Trophy as intended.

The recent game update fixes three achievements on PlayStation 4 and 5 that weren’t working correctly after the Woolhaven update. Previously, the ‘Setter of Trends,’ ‘Full Flock,’ and ‘Full Deck’ achievements required specific downloadable content to unlock, preventing some players from earning them. If you were close to getting the Platinum Trophy but couldn’t unlock these achievements, downloading the update and launching the game should now automatically unlock them. Many players are reporting success with this fix.
Cult of the Lamb Update Arrives Just Before Saying Goodbye
This fix came out at a tricky time for some players. The update launched on February 16th, only one day before the game was scheduled to be removed from the PS Plus Game Catalog. Players who were accessing the game through PS Plus Extra or Premium and experienced these issues had just one day to download the update and get any missing Trophies before potentially needing to purchase the game. Players who enjoyed the game on PS Plus before the Woolhaven DLC released shouldn’t be affected. However, some fans likely won’t hear about this update until after it’s too late to easily resolve the issue.
As a big fan of Cult of the Lamb, I’m really glad to see the developers fixed the recent issues just in time for PlayStation Plus players! It’s awesome that people are finally able to earn the rewards they deserve. I’ve seen so many fans thanking the team online, and it’s great to hear everyone’s reporting that whatever was stopping them from getting 100% completion is now sorted out. It’s a huge relief!
While some PlayStation Plus subscribers were disappointed to see Cult of the Lamb leave the service, February brought a fresh batch of games to the PS Plus Game Catalog. Players with Extra or Premium subscriptions can now enjoy PS5 titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Venba, and Echoes of the End, along with PS4 games including Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
