Several users have leaked details on the Nintendo Switch Online Playtest Program online.

Initially, the leaks emerged from the account @Ethan_ThisGuy on X (previously known as Twitter). He posted multiple pictures showcasing the playtest’s details. Almost immediately, Nintendo took down the content using a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) claim. However, copies of these images have since been uploaded by various individuals and mirrored across different platforms.

In this interactive adventure, players collaborate to cultivate and construct a vast, sprawling world using imagination and harvested resources. As you advance on this planet, you’ll encounter fresh territories, challenges, and valuable resources that are crucial for your expedition.

During your journey, you’ll receive unique tools called ‘Beacons.’ These Beacons emit a purifying and transformative light when placed at higher locations. The larger the area affected by the Beacon is known as the ‘Beacon Zone,’ and within this zone, you can accomplish your best work. By repeating this process of placing Beacons, you’ll gradually develop each Planetary Block you encounter.

The leaked materials hint at the upcoming game being a Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) by Nintendo, maintaining its iconic visual style that’s reminiscent of cartoons. You can find these leaked images on the subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours.

The Nintendo Switch Online Playtest Period is set for October 24th through November 6th.
