In Chapter 2 of “Life is Strange: Double Exposure“, you are required to locate Safi’s camera in Moses’ office. After her passing, he chose to keep it as a memento, which Detective Alderman finds suspicious, as he might think Moses is concealing something.
Absolutely, Max assumes responsibility for utilizing her newly acquired abilities to aid her friend in need. So far, Moses appears innocent and has merely acted impulsively due to an emotional crisis. Notably, as Life is Strange frequently does, this situation seems poised to present a difficult task ensuring Moses avoids the Alderman’s wrath.
Where to Find the Saiph Star
The journey to locate Safi’s camera initiates when Max converses with Moses in the Living World, seeking clues about its concealed location. A sequence of challenges must be overcome first to reveal its hiding spot. Upon discovering a note Moses wrote to himself in the Dead World, Max uncovers the necessity of searching for a ‘safe’ – this turns out to be the Saiph Star within the Orion constellation. The note hints that the camera is positioned beneath this star, and it falls upon Max to determine its exact location.
In this puzzle, what makes it challenging is that there are several posters and hints about the Saiph Star scattered throughout Moses’ office. To complicate matters further, you must search for the star across two different dimensions, which can lead to confusion. The actual star you’re seeking, however, resides in the realm known as the Dead World.
After moving to the realm known as the Dead World through any of the available transition spots in the room, make your way upstairs. Search for the star projector which is usually placed on a shelf close to the railing, behind the sofas. Turn it on and you’ll encounter a stunning display of stars that need to be properly aligned.
In past talks with Moses, Max learns that Safi and he had been creating a mural together. The solution to the puzzle lies in arranging the stars depicted on the wall so they match the mural. This will lead you closer to discovering the location of the Saiph Star, which is where Safi’s camera can be found. To achieve the correct alignment, it’s crucial that the constellations shaped like humans align with the drawings on the wall.
After finishing this task, Max will acknowledge that you’ve done it correctly. Subsequently, head downstairs and find the Saiph Star on the wall, located at the bottom left of the constellation image. A scene will unfold, and before you can take the camera, you must conceal yourself from Detective Alderman. Once you’ve managed to hide effectively, Max will seize the camera and return it to Moses. Mission accomplished!
