Vampire Survivors Getting Huge Castlevania DLC on October 31

As a dedicated fan of both Castlevania and Vampire Survivors, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming ‘Ode to Castlevania’ DLC! With over 20 new characters, 40 weapons, and a colossal stage, this expansion promises an additional 10 hours of gameplay – and that’s just what I need to keep me busy during those long winter nights.

It’s been announced that Vampire Survivors will be getting an enormous DLC based on Castlevania, scheduled for release on October 31. Named ‘Ode to Castlevania,’ this extensive addition brings over 20 fresh characters, approximately 40 weapons, and a colossal new stage into the game.

In a two-minute trailer, they revealed the new DLC, seamlessly blending the artistic style of Castlevania anime with the array of characters from Vampire Survivors.

‘Guaranteed Another 10 Hours of Gameplay’

Confirming exciting news, Poncle reveals that the new Castlevania DLC is their largest expansion yet for the critically acclaimed ‘bullet hell’ game, Vampire Survivors, which won a BAFTA Award in 2021. This sensational game has been garnering attention since its launch, and earlier this year, it was officially brought to PlayStation platforms.

Following the style of Vampire Survivors, you’ll find that the Ode to Castlevania DLC will set you back just $3.99. Known for their affordably priced yet top-tier additions, Poncle has done it again with this offering.

On the poncle site, further information was revealed:

The DLC will be accompanied by an all-new, on-theme soundtrack
Ode to Castlevania is the same size as 80% of the base game
This DLC will have in-game achievements but no new platform achievements (Xbox Achievements, PS Trophies, etc)

It’s been proposed that perhaps a vampire character could be introduced in the game Vampire Survivors, given the addition of the Ode to Castlevania. After all, who can say for certain?
