You might recognize the name Acquire, as they’re the team behind the collaboration with Square Enix on Octopath Traveler. They have also been involved in other renowned series such as Way of the Samurai and Tenchu.

It’s important to mention that neither Nintendo nor Acquire have verified this information yet. Given that the game is scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch on November 7, it appears that confirmation may not be far off.

Brothership is the sixth major game within the Mario & Luigi series, marking its initial appearance on the Nintendo Switch. This title also represents the first main release since 2015’s Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam and notably, it isn’t developed by AlphaDream. Sadly, AlphaDream had to close down in 2019 due to financial difficulties.
