Does Black Ops 6 Have a Campaign or Zombies?

As a veteran Call of Duty fan with countless hours spent on Zombies mode and completing campaigns, I couldn’t be more thrilled about Black Ops 6! The prospect of a multi-hour Campaign set in the Gulf War, complete with Treyarch’s signature creative twist, has me eagerly awaiting its release.

In harmony, Black Ops 6 and its online multiplayer modes are a perfect match, providing entertainment for players throughout an additional year. Yet, it’s common for each Call of Duty game to introduce new content, so we’ll eagerly await the possible arrival of a Campaign or Zombies mode.

Call of Duty: World at War significantly shook up the gaming world by introducing the engaging Zombies game mode as an extra feature alongside its Campaign and multiplayer options. Ever since then, we’ve been captivated by the various exciting modes like Spec Ops, Survival, Dead Ops, DMZ, MWZ, and many more inventive adaptations of the Call of Duty format.

Content is chopped and changed with every new entry—leading many to wonder what Treyarch has opted for in the Black Ops 6 release. We have the answers for you, so read below for full details.

Black Ops 6 comes with a Campaign mode that promises an extended playtime, showcasing Treyarch’s unique interpretation of historical events. Unlike the realistic and gritty storylines in Modern Warfare games, Black Ops stories often venture into more unconventional territories.

In Black Ops Cold War, you’ll delve into themes of brainwashing and mind control, and you’ll get to decide between two distinct conclusions. On the other hand, the 2010 version of Black Ops is well-known for introducing the “numbers” concept to Mason.

In Black Ops 6, many familiar characters make a reappearance (as depicted in the picture above), and this installment centers around the Gulf War as its main narrative.

Does Black Ops 6 Have a Campaign or Zombies?

It’s great news that Black Ops 6 retains the traditional Zombies mode, complete with structured rounds and various maps that have been planned out in advance.

For fans of zombies, the past few years have been quite unusual. Following some exceptional maps and the debut of Outbreak in Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard offered the most minimalistic zombie experience to date (with little improvement), while Modern Warfare 3 opted for an extraction shooter style with zombies – which was enjoyable but lacked the genuine zombie experience I yearn for.

Black Ops 6 appears to be back on top with its Zombie mode. The initial maps, Terminus and Liberty Falls, are scheduled for release, with a third map in production and expected before the end of 2024. Black Ops 6 Zombies offers Wonder Weapons, Perks, and the standard assortment of tricks, surprises, and hidden secrets.
