Black Ops 6 Prestige Explained
Once Black Ops 6 goes live and the servers are turned on, players can immediately embark on a climb through all ten Prestige levels without any seasonal timer interrupting their progress. For those who have not yet encountered the traditional Prestige system in Call of Duty, here’s an explanation of how it operates once Level 55 has been achieved:
- Reset to Level 1
- All Level unlocks must be earned again
- All loadouts are reset
- Lifetime stats remain but the game will only show stats for the Prestige that is active
How Many Prestiges Are There?
In summary, Black Ops 6 will offer a grand total of ten Prestige levels. Once you’ve achieved Level 55 Prestige 10, you unlock an extra 1000 levels on top of that, along with special rewards reserved for those who strive to attain the highest rank.
Black Ops 6 Permanent Unlocks, Explained
In Black Ops 6, each time a player earns a Prestige, they get a long-term access pass to choose one item from Levels 1 to 55. Earning ten Prestiges means you’ll have ten such passes or tokens at your disposal.
Players have the freedom to choose between various options, such as a reliable weapon from the inventory or an ongoing ability (perk) that remains active. We advise selecting a powerful weapon early on, ensuring quick access to it once you gain the ability to customize your loadout.
