As you get settled in the lovely world of Starsand Island, you’ll find that crafting becomes a core part of your everyday life. You’ll be creating tools, materials, and helpful items to help you advance and build a comfortable existence. It’s such an important skill that it’s considered a main profession, and Starsand Island even suggests focusing on it early on.

How to Get Copper Ingots in Starsand Island

To make a Copper Ingot, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 4x Copper Ores
  • 1x Charcoal

How to Get Copper in Starsand Island

Copper is one of the first materials you can find in the game. Look for rocks with orange specks or crystals in them. I found a lot near my starting area. Simply break these rocks with your pickaxe to collect Copper.

How to Get Charcoal in Starsand Island

Charcoal is a bit harder to come by. First, you’ll need to build a Charcoal Kiln. You can craft one using 5 Stones, which you get by breaking rocks, at a Worktable. Then, you can use the Kiln to turn 1 Softwood and 2 Fiber into Charcoal.

You can only craft Copper Ingots using a Furnace, not a Worktable. If you haven’t built a Furnace yet, you’ll need five Stones to make one. Once you have a Furnace, interact with it and choose to craft Copper Ingots. You’ll need three for the Skateboard, and each one only takes six seconds to create. After that, you can collect your finished Ingots.
