Resident Evil Village: How to Get Beneviento’s Treasure

After you’ve been to the Village twice and enter the Garden, you’ll see Beneviento’s Treasure in the center. However, you won’t be able to open it just yet! Resident Evil Village requires you to first explore and finish House Beneviento, which is the next area you need to go to, before you can access the treasure.

You can only get this treasure after escaping the terrifying Beneviento house. We’ve detailed below how to open the treasure and what you’ll find inside, so you can decide if it’s worth the effort and ammunition it takes to get it.

How to Get Beneviento’s Treasure in Resident Evil Village

Once you’ve left the Beneviento house, head back to the Village Graveyard. In the eastern part of the graveyard, you’ll find new enemies protecting an open crypt. Inside the crypt, you’ll discover the Broken Slab hidden in the snow. After that, go back through Potter’s Field and across the Suspension Bridge to get to the Garden.

You’ll soon face a miniboss, so stock up on ammo and pipe bombs from Duke at the Altar before you do!

After you bring the main gravestone back to the Garden, a large, axe-wielding giant will appear, guarding Beneviento’s treasure. He’s slow and his attacks are easy to dodge – simply run in a circle around the graveyard while keeping your distance. Just be careful of his powerful jumping attack!

Defeating this large enemy will require powerful weapons and a significant amount of supplies. Once it’s defeated, you can collect the Giant Crystal Axe, which you can sell to Duke for 30,000 Lei.

Once you’ve defeated the large enemy and his followers, go to the grave and examine the tombstone to place the Broken Slab. This will reveal the name “Claudia Beneviento” and open the coffin, revealing Berengario’s Chalice. This chalice is a valuable item you can sell to the Duke for 18,000 Lei.
