Embark Studios is doing a great job of regularly updating ARC Raiders with new content, keeping the gameplay exciting. Their recent “Shared Watch” event is a good example, focusing on players cooperating instead of competing against each other.
This event was unexpected, so it’s okay if you’re not sure what’s going on. We encourage you to participate, though – completing tasks will earn you helpful rewards and items for your adventures ahead.

Shared Watch Event Explained
Shared Watch events in ARC Raiders are designed to get players working together to defeat the ARC enemies. Even though you can still battle other players during the event, you’ll only receive rewards if you avoid fighting them and focus on cooperative gameplay.
Just a heads-up: the Shared Watch event in ARC Raiders is only available for a limited time, running from February 10th to February 24th, 2026. After that date, you won’t be able to get the event’s special rewards.
During the Shared Watch event, players can earn rewards by gaining XP through completing tasks on expeditions. This XP will automatically convert into Merits, which you can then use to unlock rewards as you progress through the event.
Players can earn XP during the Shared Watch event by completing any of the following actions below:
- Damaging ARC enemies
- Destroying ARC enemies
- Assisting other players in taking down the ARC enemies
Okay, so how much XP you get in this game really depends on which enemy you take down. Basically, the tougher they are, the more XP you’ll earn. Like, blasting a Bastion, Bombardier, or Leeper will give you way more XP than taking out a simple Pop or Tick. And if you manage to destroy a Queen or Matriarch? Huge XP boost! Seriously, those are worth going after.
Participating in the ARC Raiders Shared Watch event will earn you 1 Merit for every 100 XP you gain. To maximize your XP during an expedition, concentrate on defeating ARCs and avoid player-versus-player combat.

During the ARC Raiders Shared Watch event, you’ll get awesome rewards and cool cosmetics as you gain experience and earn Merits. The chart below details all the available rewards and how many Merits you need to unlock each one.

Each reward costs 50 more Merits to unlock than the one before it. I’m personally hoping to get the Vita Spray Blueprint – I’ve been searching for it on all my expeditions without any luck so far.
