I’m really excited about Starsand Island! It’s packed with all sorts of minerals and ores you can collect – it’s a great way to make money or get the materials you need for crafting on your farm. The best part? You can even find Diamonds if you explore the really hidden areas of the island!
Diamonds aren’t as plentiful as metals like copper or iron, but players can still find a lot of them if they know where to search. There are a couple of great spots on the map, but you won’t have access to them right away. You’ll need to make progress in one of the professions in Starsand Island before you can start collecting Diamonds.

Where to Get Diamonds in Starsand Island
- Moonlight Meadow (Moonlit Forest)
- Homeward Trail (Moonlit Forest)
Moonlight Meadow and Homeward Trail are two excellent places to find Diamonds. However, you’ll need to complete certain missions and have the right tools to get there. Specifically, players need to progress through Zephyria’s Exploration quests until they unlock the Depths of Moonlit Forest.
Image via Seed Sparkle Lab To mine Diamonds, you’ll need either an Impact Hammer or a better pickaxe. You can get the Impact Hammer by becoming a Junior Crafter at Zerine’s General Store. It costs 2,500 Coins and you’ll need to gather Hardwood Planks, Iron Sheets, Radiant Crystals, Bronze, and an Impulse Pickaxe to build it.
You’ll find Zephyria northwest of Green Pasture Ranch. He leads the Exploration Club, where players can take on quests. These quests mostly involve exploring the Moonlit Forest, and as you complete them, you’ll unlock more and more of the forest – including areas where you can find Diamonds.
Best Ways to Use Diamonds in Starsand Island
Diamonds are a rare material that might be needed for crafting powerful items later in the game. Because of this, it’s a good idea to collect any Diamonds you find while exploring the Moonlit Forest and hold onto them. Don’t sell them to the merchants on Starsand Island – they only offer 30 Coins each, which isn’t much considering the effort it takes to get them.
Diamonds aren’t just for crafting! You can also give them as gifts to certain characters in Starsand Island. Characters like Alex, who you can romance, really appreciate receiving Diamonds and will reward you with increased affection – sometimes up to +15 points or more!
