Initially, these missions may seem straightforward and effortless to accomplish. One example of such a confusing mission is the “Eye That Desires Magic,” which can be found in the Manawastes region on the map, requiring players to reach at least Level 43 to have a chance of success in that area.

How To Complete Eye That Desires Magic
This quest comes with three objectives for people to complete over its course:
- Defeat Evil Eye Sentry
- Collect a Collection Codex page at Manawastes
- Collect the Ancient Script Lithograph near where Malakar appears
Defeat Evil Eye Sentry
In the vicinity of your quest, you’ll encounter numerous foes known as Evil Eyes. Contrary to popular belief, these are not the ones you should be defeating for this mission stage. Instead, pay attention to your mini-map to locate a series of smaller blue circles dispersed around the area; it is these spots where the real enemies you need to battle can be found.
These entities resemble common Evil Eyes, but they are significantly larger and will appear as field bosses on their respective maps. Finding them might prove challenging since other players could have already defeated them, causing them to disappear temporarily. Therefore, it’s essential for players to exercise patience until they encounter a spawned one that is ready for battle.
Regarding defeating the Evil Eye Sentry, here’s a suggestion: You mainly need to use your strongest skills against it and attempt to dodge or block some of its attacks. Its strikes can be quite powerful, so evading some attacks by moving around is also beneficial.
Other adversaries will surround it, aiming to overpower you. In such a situation, concentrating on handling the lesser foes first can make managing the Evil Eye Sentry more manageable. Persist in your assault, and eventually, it will succumb.
Collect A Collection Codex Page
In this scenario, players won’t have a unique icon to guide them to a specific location for collection. Instead, several options are scattered throughout the area. One of the most accessible ones is located near the Manawaste Waystone. By warping there and moving northward towards the large structure in front of them, players can utilize the grappling hook to enter this structure by jumping into it.
Should the player sway to the right and cast a glance towards the staircase’s left side, they might discover a Puzzling Letter hidden amongst some stones. Engaging with this letter will mark this task as completed on their checklist.
Collect The Ancient Script Lithograph
This goal is straightforward, and you’ll find a small marker on the map to guide the players towards their destination. Reaching that location will reveal an area inhabited by a few opponents, with symbols indicating where the Ancient Lithograph is hidden. Grabbing this artifact will instantly conclude the quest.
