When I first heard about the Halo: Combat Evolved remake, I was honestly surprised it didn’t include multiplayer. Now, multiplayer is huge for Halo – it’s a core part of what makes the games so great. So, launching a game without it just feels…off. It’s funny though, because the original Halo: Combat Evolved on the original Xbox had LAN parties, but this remake doesn’t even have that option. It’s a pretty big difference!

During the first day of TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego, streamer Emiru was attacked at her meet-and-greet. A man rushed in, grabbed her head, and tried to kiss her. While her private security stopped the attack from getting worse, event security didn’t step in. Twitch stated the attacker was immediately apprehended and banned from the event, but Emiru refuted this, calling it a false statement. She explained on X (formerly Twitter) that the man was allowed to leave after the assault and she didn’t learn he’d been caught until several hours later.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a hugely popular action series, and it’s particularly famous for its amazing fight scenes. The series has quickly become known for delivering some of the best battles in the shonen genre, and the new sequel, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, is continuing that trend. Even the smaller fights we’ve seen so far in the latest chapters show just how much potential this new installment has.

These usually feature reprints of older cards with updated artwork. Secret Lairs have also been used to introduce fun collaborations, such as the recent collection featuring franchises like Horizon and God of War. Now, Wizards of the Coast has announced some disappointing news regarding the Secret Lair series.

Developers create tension in games using a number of methods. They might make enemies powerful and scary, create areas with increased danger, design unsettling environments, or even alter how the game works at different times – like making nights darker and more dangerous.

Okay, so Poltchageist is one of the newer Pokemon from the ninth generation, and it’s seriously different! It’s basically made of matcha tea and hangs out in this really cool black and white tea pot. It’s a Ghost and Grass type, which is a neat combo. But with the Pokemon GO Halloween event going on, they’re really highlighting its Ghost side. The downside? Finding one seems super rare, I’ve been looking and haven’t seen one yet!

PlayStation has reciprocated Xbox’s generosity by offering some games of its own. The MLB: The Show series has been available on Xbox for several years – though the decision wasn’t originally PlayStation’s – and recently, Helldivers 2 was also released on Xbox. Xbox fans had been eagerly requesting this popular co-op game, and were thrilled when it finally arrived. Coincidentally, on the same day Helldivers 2 launched on Xbox, Gears of War: Reloaded became available on PlayStation 5.
