Fallout 76 Ghoul Characters Will Be A New Meta For The Game

As a seasoned Fallout player with over two decades of post-apocalyptic adventures under my belt, I can confidently say that Bethesda’s latest announcement about the ghoul character change in Fallout 76 has me more excited than a Vault Dweller stumbling upon a pre-War Pepsi machine. The prospect of soaking up radiation to bolster my life instead of facing an untimely end is not just intriguing, but downright revolutionary for the series.

Bethesda Game Studios has delved deeply into the future plans for Fallout 76, revealing a wealth of details about the transformation of ghoul characters. Starting in the year 2025, players will have the unprecedented opportunity to transform their character into a ghoul, an event that brings with it numerous changes.

It’s an overhaul to characters, the likes of which we’ve never seen in Fallout 76.

Transforming into a ghoul in Fallout 76 will significantly modify your gaming experience in several aspects. For example, absorbing radiation won’t endanger your life but instead will enhance it. It was hinted that unusual transformations might occur to your ghoul character as you accumulate radiation, and not all of these changes will be positive.

Bethesda has developed a series of unique advantages specifically designed for ghoul characters. These benefits will be conveniently accessible to them.

There’s even a perk that’ll allow you to regain HP while you’re in combat, just for being in combat. That’s OP and it’ll be a huge driving reason for people to take control of a ghoul character.

Bethesda also pointed out that ghoul characters will feature a ‘Feral’ gauge instead of food and water meters. This gauge fills up when specific actions are carried out, but it doesn’t mean it’s always detrimental to exhibit some feral behavior; the team suggested this could be beneficial. At the very least, you’ll transform into an impressive fighter with extraordinary physical power – temporarily.

For Fallout 76, there’s lots more coming up, but the most eagerly awaited feature has got to be the ghoul character transformation. This new aspect will bring about an entirely fresh gaming experience, and here’s the best part: it’s not a permanent change. If you ever decide that being a ghoul isn’t your thing, you have the option to revert back to a human character.
