Starsand Island Beach Festival Event Guide

The Starsand Island Beach Festival is a lively celebration where island residents come together to enjoy the sun and sea. They share their newest goods and creations, and it’s a great way to meet and connect with neighbors.

As summer winds down, get ready for the annual Beach Festival! This guide will help you prepare for the event on Starsand Island, covering schedules, what you need to know beforehand, and helpful tips to make the most of it.

How to Unlock the Beach Festival Event in Starsand Island

You can start the event’s quests by making progress in the game, but you’ll need to do a few things first. Specifically, focusing on the Crafting and Exploration skills is important. You’ll need to create the resources that vendors ask for, and make sure you have the necessary crafting stations to do so.

Before the festival starts, you’ll need to unlock the Moonlit Forest. You can gather important resources there to help you get ready for the event. Also, it’s a good idea to have a skateboard, rollerblades, or a scooter to get around quickly during the Beach Festival – you’ll be doing a lot of running!

How to Prepare for the Beach Festival in Starsand Island

The in-game Beach Festival lasts three days. For the first two days, the villagers will be getting Half-Moon Bay ready for the festival by setting up the location and vendor stalls. They’ll ask for your help with gathering materials, so be sure to accept their requests!

Okay, so I booted up on days 25 and 26 and immediately got a new quest called “The Beach Festival is Coming.” Basically, I need to find Solara – the game marks where she is – and talk to her ASAP. There’s a catch though: I only have 20 minutes to talk to her and finish a bunch of quests around Half-Moon Bay to get everything ready for the festival. Gotta hustle!

To finish quests quickly, it’s best to gather materials by foraging and mining, and then craft the items you’ll need beforehand. This will free up your time to focus on other things, like completing quests, leveling up your skills, and building relationships with the villagers.

How to Complete the Beach Festival Event in Starsand Island

Okay, Day 27 is here, and it’s the Beach Festival! Seriously, all that grinding and prepping finally pays off because today we get to join the fun at Half-Moon Bay. I’m so ready for this!

On Day 27, the “Ta-da! Beach Festival!” quest will automatically start. Go to the beach and talk to Solara right away, as the quest doesn’t last forever. Once you’ve finished talking to her, the quest will be complete, and that’s when the real fun begins!

Check the calendar to see the times for all the festival minigames. To get started, Crab Herding begins at 8 am in the game. Go to the docks near Marston’s house and talk to the Crab Boss to learn how to play. Each time you try the minigame after that will cost 100 Coins.

The Offshore Racing minigame begins at 10 am. To join, talk to Delphin and rent a jet ski by using the event board. If you finish in the top three, you’ll earn special rewards, plus you’ll get a one-time completion prize for participating.

The Beach Festival Market opens at noon, and you can use the Beach Coins you’ve earned to shop at the vendor stalls all day. If you run out of coins, you can always play the Crab Herding and Offshore Racing games again before the next event begins.

The next event in the Beach Festival is the Bonfire Party. It’s best to complete all the games and buy anything you want with your Beach Coins before going to the stage. This is because the Bonfire Party is the last event, and it signals the end of the festival. Once you join the Bonfire Party, or when the festival finishes at midnight, you won’t be able to play any more games or shop at the market.

Starsand Island Beach Festival Event: General Tips

During the Beach Festival, there are some hidden details that will be useful to know. It’s a good idea to prepare beforehand, especially by leveling up your Crafting skills. This will let you unlock blueprints for tools and stations you’ll need in the two days leading up to the event.

To reach the Moonlit Forest, you first need to complete a few quests for the Exploration profession by talking to Zephyria. Once unlocked, the Moonlit Forest lets you gather resources like Coal, Iron, and Quartz, which are needed for the Beach Festival quests on days 26 and 27.

Okay, so when you’re herding crabs, don’t chase any one crab for too long! If you do, it’ll just dig into the sand and you’ll have to start over with a new one. The best trick I’ve found is to move back and forth – it’s way better than running straight at them, and it helps guide them towards where you need them to go. It really works!

To go faster on the jet ski during the Offshore Racing minigame, simply hold down the button or key you use to sprint. However, remember that the jet ski steers based on its speed, so going too fast could cause you to lose control and go off course.

As you get ready for the event, please pick up at least one piece of trash. But if you collect all the trash over both days, you’ll earn extra rewards like Coins, Beach Coins, blueprints, resources, and the Beach Festival Treasure Maps! These maps will lead you to Treasure Chests filled with even more Beach Coins, blueprints, recipes, and other useful items.

Once you’ve finished all the preparation quests, it’s a good idea to search for the treasures over the next two days – you’ll have more time then. Also, make sure you finish all your other activities and tasks before the Bonfire Party, which begins around 7 pm.
