ARC Raiders Cheaters Have Discovered Another Exploit, and Players Are Fed Up

Cheaters in ARC Raiders have found a new exploit that lets them create their own escape points anywhere on the map. This allows them to quickly exit missions with all their collected items. This is the newest in a series of cheats spreading among ARC Raiders players, and many are demanding that the game developers, Embark, fix the problem immediately, calling it a serious issue.

Man, I’m loving ARC Raiders – it was a huge hit last year and even won an award! But honestly, it’s getting frustrating. Like every other popular shooter – Call of Duty, Battlefield, Apex Legends, you name it – we’re seeing more and more cheaters. The problem is, it feels like the developers, Embark, aren’t taking it seriously enough. They say they’ve made changes to catch cheaters, but their system is way too forgiving. They have this three-strikes rule, meaning cheaters can get caught three times before a permanent ban. Seriously? Two temporary bans aren’t enough to deter anyone. The community is getting really tired of it, and we need them to step up their game.

ARC Raiders Cheaters Can Now Spawn Raider Hatches Wherever They Want

It feels like every week brings a new problem to ARC Raiders, whether it’s bugs, glitches, or cheaters. Recently, a TikTok video showed a player using a hack to instantly create a Raider Hatch and escape after being defeated. The video quickly spread to Reddit, where players are frustrated that cheaters don’t seem to face permanent bans. One player commented, “I can’t believe people can openly admit to hacking without any consequences.”

Many others called out Embark for its strict approach to the recent duplication glitch in ARC Raiders, which inflated the in-game economy as players duplicated items such as Rubber Ducks to then sell for currency, but its rather whimsical take on illegitimate players using hacks to gain an advantage over other players. “[Embark’s] ban policy and code are the worst of all the games I’ve ever played,” one player responded. Another said the rampant cheating issues are “unacceptable.”

Embark is facing criticism for its ban system, which permanently bans players after three offenses, but hasn’t said if it will make the rules even stricter. Recently, the studio tried to fight cheating in ARC Raiders by changing how Steam Family Sharing works. Starting February 4, 2026, anyone caught cheating will be banned on all accounts linked to their game license. This means if you share ARC Raiders with friends or family through Steam Family Sharing, they could also be banned if cheating occurs.

While Embark’s shooter, ARC Raiders, initially held a strong player base after its release last year, the number of players is now decreasing, particularly on Steam. The game still receives positive reviews, but the drop in players may be caused by frequent game-breaking bugs and hackers. PC players regularly encounter cheaters, and even console players have been affected by exploits, like a glitch on Stella Montis that lasted for weeks and a recent bug that allowed players to flood raids with duplicate items. With a new game, Marathon, coming soon, Embark needs to address these issues quickly to prevent players from leaving.
