Black Ops 6 Players Should Change this Setting for Better ADS

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that every little trick and tip makes a difference in the competitive world of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The recent discovery by Lightsfire about Tactical Sprint Assist causing a significant delay while aiming is a game-changer, especially for those who value speed and precision.

A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player has figured out that Tactical Sprint Assist can cause a significant delay while aiming, and changing this setting can make the gameplay much faster for players.

According to Lightsfire on X (through VG247), turning on Tactical Sprint Assist in Black Ops 6 extends the time it takes for players to aim down sights (ADS). A video demonstration is provided, showing gameplay differences when Sprint Assist is toggled as ‘Tactical Sprint Assist’ or simply set as ‘On’. The gameplay clearly shows a delay in aiming with the former option, whereas setting Sprint Assist to ‘On’ allows players to quickly bring up their weapons.

Here’s a suggestion for paraphrasing: *Adjust the Tactical Sprint Assist setting as it significantly slows down target acquisition while aiming down sights.*

In Black Ops 6, to activate Sprint Assist in the Movement settings, players need to navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu, then click on the ‘Movement’ tab. Within this tab, they will find an option for ‘Sprint Assist’ under ‘Intelligent Movement’. Simply toggle it ‘On’ to enable the feature.

If gamers prefer to employ Tactical Sprint along with quicker ADS, they can achieve this as well. To adjust this setting, navigate to ‘Advanced Movement Settings’ and under the ‘Movement Behaviours Tab’, look for an option labeled ‘Tactical Sprint Activation’. Once found, open it and choose ‘Single Tap Run’. Now, gamers can enjoy swift ADS while utilizing Tactical Sprint.
