The initial trial is known as the Trial of Origin, transporting Melinoë to Erebus equipped with the Witch’s Staff. Several trials strip all Arcana, making them particularly tough. Successfully finishing the first batch of trials grants the player a single Star Dust.

In the image shown, the user interface for the Chaos Trial provides details about each individual trial. Specifically, the Trial of Humility uses the Witch’s Staff within Erebus. The sequence of pink dots on the right side indicates the difficulty level of the trial, with five dots denoting the most challenging version. It’s safe to assume that a higher challenge level means Melinoë will start the trial with fewer resources.
