A Pokemon enthusiast has designed artwork imagining what the glitch Pokemon MissingNo would look like as a real creature, and the result is quite unsettling. The artwork builds on MissingNo’s original look from the Pokemon Red and Blue games, reimagining it as a living, breathing organism.

Pokemon Fan Turns MissingNo Into a Real Pokemon

A Reddit user named rc1246 reimagined the famous glitch Pokémon, MissingNo, from the original Pokémon Red and Blue, turning it into a fully realized creature. The result is unsettling – it looks like a Ditto that partially transformed into several other Pokémon at once. While still recognizable as MissingNo, the artist added a lot of detail. Notably, the glitch’s characteristic “mouth” now resembles the mischievous grin of Gengar.

MissingNo’s design is a bizarre mix of different Pokémon parts. If you look closely, you can see Lickitung’s tongue, Raticate’s teeth, and even a Magikarp mouth. There are also Kabuto’s eyes, a single eye from Psyduck with its signature three hairs, and a curl from Jigglypuff, among other things. Many fans find the resulting creature quite disturbing, with some jokingly suggesting the artist shouldn’t have shared the image or that it should be destroyed.

Most fans seem to really like the latest artwork from this talented Pokemon artist.
