In Heartopia, expressing your unique style is key, and the Fashionwave system is a fun way to do that! It lets you customize your character and home with special items during events. These items, like winter furniture or exclusive outfits, are usually only available for a limited time, which can be a bit stressful if you miss out on something you like. This guide will explain the two ways you can get these Fashionwave items in Heartopia.
How to Buy Fashionwave Items With Fashionwave Tokens
During a Fashionwave event, you can usually buy items straight from Azure, the NPC in charge of the Fashionwave Store located in the Winter Event area on Onsen Mountain. The store features a different set of items each day, all available for purchase with Fashionwave Tokens.
You can earn Fashionwave tokens by completing weekly challenges, cooking, and selling things to Azure. When you see something you like in the store and have enough tokens, just talk to Azure to buy it!
The shop updates daily with new items, so the selection is always changing. You can also manually refresh it, but it’s very expensive. If you miss an item you want, or don’t have enough tokens when it’s available, another player who already has it can help you get it.
How to Buy Fashionwave Items Through DG Members
If you couldn’t get a Fashionwave item because you missed it, didn’t check the store, or didn’t have enough tokens, don’t worry! The DG Member Friend Purchase system lets players help each other out by buying items for each other that they already own.
Within the Fashionwave Store, you’ll find a special section called ‘DG Member Friend Purchase’. This is where you can select an item and see which of your friends already own it.
After selecting a player, you can see their location on the map or add them as a friend for easier meetups. When you find them in town, interact with them and choose the shopping icon. This will open the Fashionwave trade screen where you can request an item. When they accept, it costs them 30 Energy to complete the trade, so it’s a good idea to give them some food either before or after the transaction.
As a fan, I’ve learned each item can only be helped with a certain number of times. Once those ‘helps’ are used up, a player can’t assist anyone else with that specific item anymore. And just to be clear, they aren’t giving you something they own – they’re just helping you get the item for yourself!
