The anticipation builds as I shoot down a meteor from the sky, hoping it will shower me with the coveted Beamsmasher or Ray Gun.
For Black Ops 6 Zombies enthusiasts, the Beamsmasher and Ray Gun are coveted weapons, and those venturing into the perilous Terrain Island maps will undoubtedly wish to acquire them without delay. Fortunately, a discreet and little-known mission within Terrain offers players a chance at a free Miracle Weapon, if fortune smiles upon them.
The Easter egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies revolves around destroying an incoming meteorite and enjoying the loot it brings down. The goal is to find this hidden feature in every game, as it often rewards you with a Beamsmasher or Ray Gun early on.
A Wonder Weapon is not a guaranteed loot drop from this side quest, but it is still likely.
Activate the Void Cannon Trap
Initially, participants should traverse the Mess Hall and gain access to the Gun Platform. Subsequently, navigate towards the rear portion of this zone to initiate the Void Cannon trap, requiring 1,750 Essence for activation. Be cautious as the Void Cannon may pull players into a random location. After setting off the trap, wait for its effects to conclude before moving on to another round, since the following action should be performed during a different game cycle.
Shoot Electrified Radio Towers with a Deadwire Pack-a-Punched Gun
After using the Void Cannon at least once, players should aim to get a Pack-a-Punched weapon and attach the Deadwire Ammo Mod to it using Salvage. This step works best if the chosen weapon has a sight, as it requires hitting two targets quickly, both of which will be located outside the game map.
1st objective: Locate an accessible radio tower outside Engineering, identifiable by its glowing electric-blue light. Fire your weapon equipped with Deadwire and Pack-a-Punch at this target. Upon successful hit, it should emit a surge of electricity, changing the color of the light to red.
Re-Activate the Void Cannon
After activating both radio towers, they will stay glowing red. Proceed to the next round, then re-energize the Void Cannon. Direct your attention towards the Void Cannon’s beam and observe, as it should launch a meteor from the sky. Now, keep an eye on where that meteorite hits, as it should be going to the left side of the screen.
Head to Castle Rock Island for Free Loot
After observing the Void Cannon blast a meteor from the heavens, it’s now time to embark on a boat journey towards Castle Rock Island, located on the eastern part of the map. On this island, you’ll find a fiery crater from the meteor impact and a cache of treasures. Finishing this task on higher difficulty levels may boost your loot rewards, potentially including Salvage, Essence, Ammo Enhancements, and as always, a complimentary Wonder Weapon!
If gamers haven’t obtained a complimentary Wonder Weapon via the meteor Easter egg sequence, they could opt to save their game progress at the end of the quest round and then exit, with the intention of restarting the process in an attempt to improve their chances of success on the next try.
