Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Get Nuketown And Infected This Week

As a seasoned gamer who has been through the trenches of countless Call of Duty titles since the early days, I can confidently say that this upcoming update for Black Ops 6 is shaping up to be a game-changer. The return of Infected and Nuketown has sent my heart racing with excitement!

Enthusiasts of the game “Call of Duty” are currently immersed in enjoying the new “Black Ops 6” campaign, yet there’s an uptick in positivity on the multiplayer front too.

Today, I’m thrilled to share that Treyarch, the developer studio behind my favorite game, has unveiled a fresh update to their roadmap on social media. This new plan lends credence to the buzz surrounding the upcoming changes!

Infected Tomorrow

The initial major enhancement for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 arrives on October 29 with the inclusion of Infected mode, a lively multiplayer feature that originated from an April Fool’s prank and made its debut in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

Essentially, Infected involves one participant initially designated as ‘infected’, with the objective of seeking out and contaminating other players.

As a die-hard fan, I can tell you that the thrill continues until there’s just one healthy soul left in the game. At this point, the last man standing’s location gets unveiled to the infected. My mission, should I choose to accept it, is straightforward: survive until the clock ticks down to zero.

So far, Treyarch hasn’t revealed many details about the Infected mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. However, it’s anticipated that its operation will be similar to the one seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Following some enjoyable playtime in Infection mode, Friday reintroduces a widely beloved map from past Black Ops series – and yes, you’re right, it’s Nuketown once again!

Nuketown 24/7

Nuketown is a compact map designed to resemble a dead-end street in a typical 1950s American suburbia. Over time, it’s become known as a paradise for close quarters combat due to its layout that simulates the aftermath of a nuclear blast in residential neighborhoods.

For those who spent their youth gaming online with Black Ops, Nuketown stirs deep memories. It’s anticipated that Black Ops 6 will faithfully recreate this cherished masterpiece.

The official social media account for “Call of Duty” has shared hints in various places suggesting that the iconic map from Black Ops, known as Nuketown, will be recreated based on its original design when Black Ops 6 is released. This comes after Black Ops: Cold War took a different approach to the map’s design.

Many gamers are optimistic that the arrival of Nuketown a week after launch may indicate that other popular maps could also be part of the game as development progresses.
