Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Ending and Theories Explained
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Campaign Ending Explained
In the concluding phase of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s storyline, gamers assume command of William “Case” Calderon yet again, who is part of Woods’ unauthorized black ops unit without a face. As Case, players engage in a struggle against waves of Pantheon troops that have discovered the black ops team’s hideout in Bulgaria. The conflict reaches its peak when Jane Harrow, leader of Pantheon, tries to escape on a helicopter.
As the helicopter takes flight, Case leaps aboard just as it ascends, causing chaos in the air between him and the soldiers within. Once the soldiers are overpowered, Case focuses on Harrow, engaging in a fierce battle. Amidst their struggle, the helicopter’s pilot is fatally wounded, leading to a rapid descent towards the watery depths below.
Previously in the mission, it is disclosed that Case was the initial subject for a bioweapon created by the CIA named “The Cradle.” This weapon enhances the user’s power and swiftness, however, it significantly amplifies their hostility. In the helicopter, Case willingly succumbs to The Cradle, employing their aggression to choke Harrow as the helicopter keeps filling with water.
Afterward, the screen turns dark. A voice, belonging to a comrade in our Black Ops team, Marshall, rings out, sharing the news that they successfully thwarted an attack on the Capital building by The Pantheon.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Campaign Credits Scene Explained
Two weeks on, the final scene of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 finds Woods and his covert black ops group encountering their ex-CIA boss, Daniel Livingstone. Livingstone reactivates Woods’ team, asserting that they are crucial in the current situation as the adversary they face doesn’t have a discernible objective.
Livingstone indicates that he is sending Woods and his group back to the lavish city of Avalon, a hub known for criminal activities along the Mediterranean coastline. He suspects that Woods might uncover more details about Pantheon there. There have been whispers suggesting an Avalon map may soon feature in the upcoming version of Call of Duty: Warzone, which would align intriguingly with the ending of Black Ops 6.
In simpler terms, we can say that in Livingstone’s last conversation with Woods and Marshall, he hinted that the mole within the Pantheon could still be hidden somewhere within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). As he makes this statement, the scene shifts to his CIA office where an unidentified man is seen accessing Livingstone’s private computer. Some viewers speculate that this unknown person might be Jackson Caine, a character associated with one of the operator skins in Black Ops 6.
