Terminus: Secret Spore Quest Guide (Free Perk-a-Cola)

Terminus: Secret Spore Quest Guide (Free Perk-a-Cola)

As a seasoned Call of Duty: Black Ops veteran with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest addition to the Black Ops 6 Zombies mode has once again outdone itself. The Terminus Spore Secret Quest is yet another testament to the game’s commitment to keeping its player base engaged and rewarded.

In the ongoing tradition of Black Ops 6, it maintains its impressive track record of offering amazing mysteries that generously compensate players with prizes and additional Perk-a-Colas. This time in Terminus, there’s another hidden gem – island conservation. Players must eliminate a few harmful spores and manage a pest problem caused by bugs to receive a complimentary Perk-a-Cola as a reward for their efforts.

In Black Ops 6 Zombies, upon finishing this brief quest, players not only get a Perk-a-Cola but also a Refined Aetherium Crystal. This crystal allows them to upgrade their weapon to Tier 2 using Pack-a-Punch. If executed properly, this means players can enjoy a complimentary Perk and a Tier 2 upgraded weapon as early as round 6!

Take a Boat Out to Sea and Find a Spore-Infested Island

Initially, it’s advisable for players to select a weapon they feel at ease with for long-distance firing, given that they will encounter bothersome Parasites and need to burst unsavory zits scattered around a stone. To proceed, players should acquire a boat and navigate out to the sea, circling the primary Terminus Island while searching for a haphazard rock covered in spores.

In each game, players seek an image with unique differences since each player receives a randomly placed rock with spores growing. Their task is to eliminate all the spores surrounding the rock, however, this action triggers the appearance of Parasites. These Parasites can either be disregarded or defeated, but once every spore has been eradicated, a growling sound signals that the step has been successfully completed.

After eliminating the first rock infected with spores, players advance to another stage where they must board a boat and search for the infestation. Once found, follow the same eradication procedure and obliterate all the spores. This process needs to be repeated one more time on another round, implying that players need to destroy a total of three spore-infested islands in the end.

Return to the Sea Caves Where Speed Cola Resides

Once players have found and eliminated three island strongholds teeming with spores, it’s time to return to the Sea Caves, situated where Speed Cola is usually found. Upon arrival, they’ll notice a solitary spore on the floor. Firing at this spore will reveal that the caves are infested with more spores. Clearing out all these spores will trigger Parasites, which can be quickly dispatched. The final spore, once destroyed, will shower the players with an array of loot and ensure a randomly selected Perk-a-Cola Power-Up as a reward.

This trick is essential for success in every game, especially during the initial stages as it gives you an advantage. Notably, there’s a high chance that players might discover a Polished Aetherium Crystal, which upon collection, instantly upgrades the weapon to Tier 2 with Pack-a-Punch capabilities.
