As a long-time Dragon Ball fan, I can confidently say that the Sparking Episodes in “Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero” have truly been a game-changer for me. The Gohan Character Episode, with its unique Sparking Episode, “The Strongest Warrior,” is no exception.
Sparking! Zero”, deviating from the primary narrative and examining the outcomes that arise when a single event in the canon is altered. Each character with their own Character Episode has at least one pathway within the “Sparking Episodes” to explore.
Gohan’s Character Episode in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has a single Sparking Episode to unlock, but it’s a doozy. A simple change to the Resurrection F Arc results in a domino effect that heavily alters the Goku Black Arc, resulting in the creation of a new villain: Gohan Black. This terrifying foe, while not playable at the time of writing, is at the heart of Gohan’s Sparking Episode, so here’s how to unlock it and how it works.
How to Unlock Gohan’s Sparking Episode “The Strongest Warrior” in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero
To unlock this Sparking Episode you’ll need to play the mission “Defend Earth from the Freiza Force!” In the canon version of this sequence, Gohan struggles greatly against Freiza and is eventually injured, forcing Goku and Vegeta to return to Earth and intervene.
To kick off Gohan’s Sparking Episode titled “The Strongest Warrior”, it’s crucial to outperform Gohan against Freiza in combat. Employ evasive maneuvers, defensive strategies, and unleash Super and Ultimate Attacks. Keep Freiza under constant pressure while reducing his health. This approach will lead you on an alternate route, allowing you to engage in battles as Gohan against Freiza’s troops.
The chain of events twists to transform the Goku Black Arc into the Gohan Black Arc, as Gohan and Trunks fight against Zamasu and Gohan Black with help from Goku and Vegeta. This new sequence leads to Gohan mastering and employing the Evil Containment Wave to imprison Zamasu. With Fused Zamasu vanquished by Trunks and Gohan’s combined Masenko attack, and then confined with the Evil Containment Wave, Trunks’ future is secured once more, and Gohan rejoins his loved ones.
Unfortunately, Gohan Black isn’t available for unlocking at the moment, as he appears to have a similar moveset to both Adult Gohan and Ultimate Gohan.
