Hogwarts Legacy 2 is now in production at Warner Bros. Games, the studio confirmed on Tuesday.
The news comes via Variety.
Based on the report, it’s clear that the follow-up to the 2023 top-selling video game holds great importance for those at Warner Bros. Regarding the future direction of this game, David Haddad, President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, has shared that they plan to align the storyline with the forthcoming HBO series.
The report mentions that the achievement of Hogwarts Legacy boosted faith that it was the ideal moment for a significant Harry Potter initiative: “The rest of the company showed great interest in what we might have uncovered with ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ last year,” it states.
Regarding the initial release of Hogwarts Legacy, it’s important to note that further content is on its way. Back in October, TopMob revealed that a special edition of the game was under production, offering approximately 10-15 extra hours of gameplay.
More on Hogwarts Legacy 2, or whatever the game will be named, will come at a later date.
