Fortnite OG Will Return Permanently in December, It’s Claimed

As a longtime Fortnite player who has seen it all, from the early days of Chapter 1 to the current chapter, hearing the news about the permanent return of Fortnite OG in December is nothing short of exhilarating! The first time they brought back the original map was a breath of fresh air that revitalized the game and broke records worldwide. If done right, I believe this could very well be the spark that reignites the passion of old players like me while attracting new ones.

Trustworthy sources on social media are suggesting that Fortnite OG is set to make a permanent comeback in December. This announcement could be made during the Final event or The Game Awards, scheduled for the first week of December. Additionally, there’s talk that each Chapter One season will rotate monthly.

Going Back to OG

A year ago, Epic Games brought Fortnite back to its roots, and let me tell you, it was one heck of a comeback! In the blink of an eye, millions upon millions of gamers flocked to the game on every platform, shattering records all over the globe. It was such a smashing hit that other developers have since taken note, trying to recreate the magic by reintroducing classic maps as a nod to fans. I’m just one gamer, but it feels like I’m part of something huge!

Most recently, it was revealed that Apex Legends will be taking players back to their original map.

On social networks, respected Fortnite tipsters HYPEX and ShiinaBR have confirmed rumors that Fortnite OG will reappear in December, and this time it’s expected to be a permanent feature.

Per the claims:

  • All Chapter One seasons (1 – 10) will return, with each one lasting a month
  • Only OG loot will be available and the map will support both Build and Zero Build

As a seasoned gamer, I’ve got to say, this new update could potentially be massive! But can it recreate the magic that old-school Fortnite brought back last year when it made its grand comeback? Well, it’s feasible, but only time will tell if it can capture the same level of appeal.

Lately, it’s been uncovered that Epic is teaming up with shoe brands such as Jordans to create fresh in-game items referred to as Kicks. Furthermore, popular hip-hop artists like Eminem and Snoop Dogg have joined the game, appearing as playable characters and even boss figures.
