One Piece Strong Characters That Have Yet To Be Involved In The Final Saga

The final saga of One Piece is shaping up to be one of the greatest endings in manga. Even with only two arcs released so far, they’ve been incredibly well-received. It’s logical that Oda is introducing the most powerful characters now, saving them for this climactic part of the story to maximize their impact. With so many strong characters already established, it will be fascinating to see how they match up against those whose true power is still a mystery.

This post contains spoilers for One Piece.

Shanks

Captain Of The Red Hair Pirates

  • Has insanely powerful Haki

Shanks hasn’t played a significant role in the recent events of One Piece, aside from a brief clash with Eustass Kid. He easily defeated Kid and took the vital Road Poneglyphs, leaving Kid with nothing. Since then, Shanks has largely remained an observer, not actively participating in major battles or storylines.

Fans are understandably excited to see Shanks fight. He’s widely considered the strongest character in One Piece, mastering all three forms of Haki, including their most advanced techniques. Notably, he can even negate an opponent’s ability to see the future with his powerful Conqueror’s Haki, giving him a huge advantage. Considering how incredibly strong he is, it’s likely the author, Oda, is holding him back for the final, climactic battles.

Sakazuki

Fleet Admiral Of The Marines

  • Possesses the destructive Magu Magu no Mi

Since Sakazuki took over as Fleet Admiral, he’s been mostly stationed at Marine Headquarters and Marijoa. As the top leader, he has authority over everyone, including the Admirals. But it seems likely that a powerful fighter like Sakazuki will be drawn into a significant battle during the final events of the story.

Sakazuki has the power to control magma thanks to a rare Devil Fruit called the Magu Magu no Mi. This fruit is considered one of the strongest offensive types, making him a formidable fighter. As the highest-ranking officer in the Marines, he’s remained on the sidelines so far. But if his subordinates start losing, he’ll be forced to join the battle himself.

Sabo

Dragon’s Right-Hand Man

  • Combines Ryusoken with the Mera Mera no Mi

I’ve noticed Sabo has become incredibly popular in One Piece since he was brought back into the story. It’s easy to see why – he has a really cool design, and he’s a powerful fighter. He spent years training with the Revolutionary Army and became incredibly skilled with Armament Haki, which allows him to harden parts of his body for extra impact. He often uses this Haki with his Ryusoken style, a unique way of fighting that focuses on hitting the vital center of whatever he’s attacking.

Besides his Haki abilities, Sabo also has the power of the Mera Mera no Mi, letting him create and control fire. When we last saw him, he was still learning to use this power, but he’s likely gotten much better since then. Sabo hasn’t fully unleashed his abilities in the current arc of the story, but fans are anticipating seeing him fight at his full strength soon.

Dracule Mihawk

Strongest Swordsman In The World

  • The best with the sword

Dracule Mihawk and Crocodile created the Cross Guild together. Mihawk was previously one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, but he lost that status when the World Government disbanded the Warlords, choosing instead to rely on Pacifista and Seraphim. Following this change, Mihawk joined forces with Crocodile to establish the Cross Guild.

Mihawk is widely considered the world’s greatest swordsman, a title backed up by his incredibly high bounty of 3.59 billion berries. No one alive can match his skill with a blade. He wields Yoru, an exceptionally powerful sword capable of slicing through nearly any material. Having used Yoru for many years, Mihawk has mastered all types of sword grips. He is currently traveling alongside the Cross Guild, joining Buggy in his search for the legendary treasure, the One Piece.

Monkey D. Dragon

Leader Of The Revolutionary Army

  • Unknown level of strength

Monkey D. Dragon leads the Revolutionary Army and is considered the world’s most dangerous criminal. After discovering the injustices of the World Government, he committed his life to overthrowing it and securing freedom for everyone. His efforts have helped many people globally.

Dragon, a wise leader, strategically avoids direct combat, preferring to support his allies from behind the scenes. He’s likely one of the most powerful characters in One Piece, though his abilities remain largely unknown. Hopefully, the upcoming Final Saga will reveal more about his powers.

Fujitora

One Of The Navy’s Strongest Weapons

  • Has a devastating Devil Fruit

Fujitora is a Marine Admiral who became part of the organization through a system called the World Military Draft. He, along with Ryokugyu, was selected to replace two previous Admirals: one who left, and another who was promoted. Fujitora is different from many Marines because he has a strong sense of right and wrong, demonstrated by his decision to expose the Marines’ mistakes during the events in Dressrosa. He also played a role in an incident in Marijoa, where he assisted the Revolutionary Army in freeing slaves.

Fujitora is not only a well-liked character, but also incredibly strong. He has the Zushi Zushi no Mi Devil Fruit, which lets him manipulate gravity at will. This allows him to do things like call down massive meteors and defeat opponents with crushing force. On top of that, he wields one of the twelve highest-quality swords, proving he’s a master swordsman.
