To get all the herbs featured in the Dreamlight Cinematic season of Heartopia, you’ll need to search around the game world. You’ll be collecting four different wild greens: burdock, fiddlehead, mustard greens, and tall mustard. Each herb appears in a different area of the map and is used to make special recipes during the Heartopia event.
You can collect these herbs anytime, in any weather, and you don’t need any special equipment. To finish all the recipes before the event ends on May 2, 2026, make sure to check these locations often to gather them as they reappear.
Where to Find All Dreamlight Cinematics Herbs in Heartopia
As a big fan of Dreamlight Valley, I’ve noticed something cool during the Cinematics event! Herbs are showing up all over the Valley, but they don’t just grow randomly. They appear in little groups, and each type has its own special spot where it likes to grow. Usually, you’ll find three plants growing pretty close together, and the best part is, there are multiple of these little groups in each area, so you can collect a bunch at once!
Enemies respawn quickly, letting you farm resources efficiently by moving between different areas instead of staying in one place.
Here are all the herbs you can find in the Dreamlight Cinematics season.
Burdock
Burdock is a common herb that’s easy to find if you know where to look. On Whale Mountain, you can find it in the Flower Field area. It’s recognizable by its wide, green leaves and small, tightly packed bulbs, which make it look a bit fuller than other plants.
A great place to begin your search is by heading west from player plot number four. Burdock plants often grow there in easy-to-spot groups.
While you’re at Whale Mountain, keep your eyes peeled for the Script Supervisor Bumblebees too.
Fiddlehead
Fiddlehead is a bit harder to spot because it looks like tiny, curled green ferns. It’s easily camouflaged, so you’ll need to search carefully to find it.
This herb can be found growing near the pond by Deer Tower in the Forest. It’s not super common, but you can usually find a few plants there.
Mustard Greens
Mustard greens are easy to find because of their vibrant yellow flowers and dark green leaves. They really pop against the background, making them one of the easiest plants to gather.
You can find these plants in the Fishing Village, especially around the lighthouse. Look along the beach and by the bridge leading to the Flower Field – they appear there often, so a short walk along the coast should be enough to collect a few.
Tall Mustard
Tall mustard looks a bit different than standard mustard greens – it grows taller and has paler flowers. It’s a key ingredient in many taco recipes, so be sure to harvest it often.
You can find this herb growing in the Ruins area, close to Onsen Mountain. You don’t have to go deep into the mountain itself – just start at player plot five and head north towards the ruins. You should see several groups of the herb as you go.
Unlike other ingredients, you can’t purchase or find these Wild Greens in shops or by searching. You’ll have to gather them yourself from the game world whenever you need them for Dreamlight Valley recipes. Luckily, they grow back quickly – you can usually find new patches every couple of minutes, making them easy to collect regularly.
