In November 2023, after three years, Sony released slimmer versions of both the standard and digital PS5 consoles, replacing the original models. Also that month, the PlayStation Portal—a handheld device for streaming PS5 games—became available. Then, in November 2024, Sony launched the PS5 Pro, a more powerful console with better graphics and a slightly updated design.
