Mario and Luigi: Brothership - How to Open the Lighthouse Gate on Raynforst Island

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating various digital landscapes, I can confidently say that Mario and Luigi: Brothership is a gem among the gaming world. The Raynforst Island level is particularly intriguing, with its unique puzzles that challenge both my problem-solving skills and reflexes.

In the game called “Mario and Luigi: Brothership“, players must navigate their way to the lighthouses on the various islands, as this is necessary to reconnect them with Shipshape Island, the Uni-Tree, and ultimately restore the Connectar energy back to the island.

At Raynforst Island, game enthusiasts must flip four switches to unlock the entrance to the lighthouse region. This tutorial helps players navigate to each switch, allowing them to trigger it and proceed to the area required to finish the stage.

How to Activate the First Switch on Raynforst Island

When players advance to the northern region of the island, they’ll encounter blocks capable of shifting the vines found in Raynforst.

To access the initial switch, players can maneuver themselves towards the purple obstacle block. They have two options: climb the second ramp or push the blue obstacle block and ascend the first ramp. Regardless of the chosen path, the purple obstacle block will clear the vines blocking the path, enabling players to proceed further.

How to Activate the Second Switch on Raynforst Island

To locate the second switch in Raynforst, players should move east from the first one, and they’ll find it hidden behind a vine-covered wall.

How to Activate the Third Switch on Raynforst Island

You’ll find the next switch located to the north of the current one. While pushing the orange block marked with an exclamation point may cause the vines obstructing the third switch to rise and lower, they will consistently form a veil of vines that they cannot pass through.

To get to the third switch, players need to apply Luigi Logic and maneuver Mario across the platforms labeled ‘L’ and ‘M’, which will keep appearing. These initial platforms will transport them to an eastern cliff.

In order to secure the platforms, players need to leap onto the final platform correctly, ensuring they don’t accidentally fall off.

As a gamer, I’ve got to leap onto the upcoming platform cluster next. Once I land there, I need to time my jump perfectly to soar off when I reach the coin-filled stream. This stream will guide me straight to where the switch is hidden.

Afterward, the players should advance westwards towards the uppermost point and position themselves before the gate leading to the lighthouse. There, they’ll encounter a new block that, when activated, will shift the vines on the lower level, granting access to that area.

With the help of Luigi’s logic, the sibling in green attire will manage to get to the purple block situated up ahead. By cutting down and clearing away the two obstacle vines, a path will open for Mario to advance. Once there, they can hand off the Yellow Toad to Luigi, ensuring his security in the process.

Following this, players should navigate left, pick up the timid Green Toad, then position it on the yellow button to unlock the gate and snatch the blue stone. The stone can be handed off to Luigi, enabling him to traverse to the platform next to him. Afterward, the Green Toad is to be thrown to Luigi. Subsequently, Luigi will remain by the blue handle, seize Mario as soon as he leaps close and hoist him up immediately.

In summary, position the blue stone beneath the Pink Toad, who stands before the switch. By doing this, players will reach the last switch to ultimately activate it.
