Solo Leveling is a fantastic anime known for its thrilling, quick-paced battles and captivating powers. While it’s a hugely popular series, unfortunately, new episodes aren’t expected this year. Though fans may be disappointed, there are plenty of other great anime available that offer similar excitement and compelling stories – some might even surpass Sung Jinwoo’s adventure!
Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia
- Release Date: July 2026
I watched as Solo Leveling unexpectedly became a huge anime hit in 2024. It really made me think that fans like us should be willing to check out some of the newer shows coming out this year. One that’s caught my eye is Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia.
I’m seriously blown away by this anime! The animation and direction from Science Saru are top-notch – easily one of the best shows of the year. What really grabbed me, though, is the story: it follows a young Persian woman navigating the Mongol Empire, driven by a powerful quest for revenge. Now, it might seem totally different from something like Solo Leveling, but trust me, it has that same potential for incredible storytelling. And, like Solo Leveling, it features a really satisfying revenge arc, which is always a win for anime fans. Honestly, if you’re into Solo Leveling, you absolutely need to check this out – I think you’ll be hooked!
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3
- Release Date: January 2026
Fans who enjoy the action in Solo Leveling should definitely check out Jujutsu Kaisen. Its current season, which started in early January with the Culling Game arc, is considered one of the best anime releases of the year. Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen boasts fantastic animation and delivers battles that are just as thrilling, if not more so, than those found in Solo Leveling.
For fans of Solo Leveling looking for another series with amazing powers and intense battles, Jujutsu Kaisen is a fantastic pick. It’s hard to find anything comparable in recent anime and manga.
One Piece
- Release Date: April 5, 2026
If you’re searching for an anime with thrilling fights, a captivating story, and an incredibly detailed world, One Piece is the top choice. It strikes a perfect balance between exciting action and deep, expansive lore – something few other stories achieve. While it’s a long series, the epic scope of One Piece makes even its many episodes feel worthwhile.
The popular anime One Piece will be back with new episodes in April 2026, starting a multi-year storyline called the Elbaf arc. This year, 26 new episodes are already planned, which fans around the world are sure to love. If you’re excited for the next season of Solo Leveling, consider watching One Piece in the meantime, as there might be a while before Jinwoo’s story continues.

Naruto
- Release Date: N/A
Similar to Solo Leveling, Naruto is famous for its epic fight scenes and a well-developed power system that has influenced many other anime. The series also includes a diverse cast of characters, and some of them explore darker paths, echoing themes found in Solo Leveling.
Like Solo Leveling, Naruto features powerful, god-like beings. However, many find its story to be much better written. If you enjoy Solo Leveling, you really shouldn’t miss watching Naruto.
Tomb Raider King
- Release Date: July 2026
I’ve been hearing a lot about a new manhwa called Tomb Raider King, and it sounds remarkably similar to Solo Leveling. It’s actually being made by the same studio, and it’s coming out in July 2026. Honestly, it feels like a more budget-friendly take on Sung Jinwoo’s story – even the characters look the same, and their abilities are pretty comparable too.
While this series likely won’t reach the same heights as Solo Leveling, fans who enjoy similar characters and abilities might find it enjoyable.
Black Clover
- Release Date: Late 2026
Fans of Solo Leveling who enjoy stories with dark power systems should definitely check out Black Clover. This series is known for its strong writing and many consider it even better than Solo Leveling. With Studio Pierrot taking a more deliberate approach to production, the already exciting action sequences are expected to be even more impressive when the show returns in 2026.
This series is packed with thrilling battles and a captivating, dark story that fans will really enjoy. Although we’ll have to wait a while for more from Sung Jinwoo, Asta is back and offers an excellent, engaging option for Solo Leveling fans in the meantime.
The Apothecary Diaries Season 3
- Release Date: Fall 2026
Since its debut, The Apothecary Diaries has been a strong rival to Solo Leveling. It’s consistently delivered high quality, establishing itself as one of the best anime series in recent years. Many fans have even ranked it above Solo Leveling, highlighting the intense competition between the two shows.
Since Solo Leveling won’t have new episodes this year, The Apothecary Diaries is a fantastic alternative. Though the two shows are quite different, The Apothecary Diaries is just as captivating, with a rich and immediately engaging story. If you’re a Solo Leveling fan looking for something new, The Apothecary Diaries is highly recommended!
