Scolecite Ore is a valuable crafting material in Crimson Desert, essential for upgrading weapons, armor, and shields to the highest tiers. While it’s mostly found in the later parts of the game, you can find a small amount in the starting areas through exploration. This guide will show you everything you need to know about finding Scolecite Ore in Crimson Desert.
How to Get Scolecite Ore in Crimson Desert
You can find Scolecite Ore in the northeastern part of Pywel, within the Crimson Desert. A road runs through the Trader’s Expanse, and traveling along it will lead you to several locations where Scolecite Ore grows on the sides of mountains.
The road will take you straight to Varnia, and you can easily gather around 10 Scolecite deposits as you travel through the Trader’s Expanse. You can also find smaller amounts of Scolecite in the mid-game areas, particularly in Pailune. There’s one Scolecite Ore deposit located just south of the main village in Pailune, as shown in the image above.
Players can find Scolecite Ore for sale from certain merchants who sell goods on the streets and minerals in the Crimson Desert.
When heading to Scolecite Ore deposits in Crimson Desert, it’s helpful to bring a pickaxe for mining. But you can also break the ore nodes with a Charged Shot or your Focus Palm ability. After the ore falls, you can collect it yourself or send your pet to gather it, if you’ve unlocked pets.
