In the continuous lifecycle of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 shooter game, the Saug SMG is among the early fortifications made to its arsenal. This gun promises to be yet another potent inclusion in a weapon class that’s already strong, and we have all the steps on how to acquire it in BLOPS 6.
The beginning of Season 1 for Black Ops 6 by Activision marks a significant milestone for their latest Call of Duty game. Typically, the player community is most active during the first season, and Treyarch is well-prepared to meet expectations. Nuketown was already part of Black Ops 6 before Season One, and things can only improve from this point forward.
In this latest seasonal update for Black Ops 6, a fresh weapon called the Krig C joins the roster, along with the exciting new game mode called Ransack. Today’s spotlight, however, is on the Saug SMG.
How to Unlock Saug SMG in Black Ops 6
You unlock the Saug SMG by choosing it as your reward from Page 3 of the Season One Battle Pass in Black Ops 6.
In the game Black Ops 6, Season One introduces a new format for the Battle Pass, replacing the sector-based system used in Modern Warfare. This revamp is called the “Page” system, as explained in a Call of Duty blog post. Essentially, Activision describes the Battle Pass like a book with two initial rewards (one BlackCell) on the cover, followed by 100 in-game rewards distributed across 14 pages. Once all other pages are completed, you unlock an additional page immediately.
In this Battle Pass, one of the free levels is called the Saug. To keep weapons from being behind paywalls, you’ll need to accumulate sufficient Battle Pass Experience (XP) to reach Page 3. Once you reach that level, the Saug will be available for you to use in your loadout. From there, you can level up this SMG to earn Mastery Camos by progressing further.
Moving forward, please turn to page 11 of your seasonal pass. There, you’ll find a unique Blueprint that can be used for customizing your gun.
What is the Saug SMG in Black Ops 6?
The Saug is characterized as a “swift-shooting submachine gun” that boasts exceptional agility, control, and rapid firing capabilities. However, its major drawback lies in its significant recoil, which aligns with the traditionally unruly nature of submachine guns like the classic Uzi.
This weapon boasts 39 different levels for its firepower, and it initially includes four magazines. Additionally, it offers Mastery Badges as rewards. If history repeats itself like with Black Ops Cold War’s initial Uzi (the Milano 821), expect to enhance its performance with numerous recoil-reducing attachments!
