As a long-time fan of farming games and simulators, I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of Farming Simulator 25. However, as someone who’s learned the hard way that Giants Software releases can be buggy, I’m not entirely disappointed that it won’t be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Instead, I’ll have to either buy a copy or wait, which, let’s face it, is often just waiting for the bugs to get squashed.

As an avid Xbox Game Pass subscriber, I’m always excited to discover fresh games joining the monthly roster, especially since trying out new releases without any extra cost is a great perk! However, not every game debuts on Game Pass, which can be frustrating for some. So, let me clarify – will Farming Simulator 25 be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch?

Is Farming Simulator 25 Coming to Xbox Game Pass?

At the moment, Farming Simulator 25 won’t be available on Xbox Game Pass on its release day. However, it might be added later, possibly within a year after its launch, similar to the previous game in the series. In the meantime, players have two options: purchase a copy or be patient. Given that I am an enthusiast of farming games and particularly fond of Farming Simulator, I can attest from personal experience that titles developed by Giants Software are typically riddled with bugs more frequently than not.

As a fellow enthusiast of the Farming Simulator series, I wanted to share some news about the game’s availability on different platforms. Although many of us long-time fans might gravitate towards playing Farming Simulator 25 on our PCs, it’s important to note that there’s a vibrant community on Xbox Series X|S who are equally excited about the game. However, if you’re planning to join them, be aware that each console edition is around $10 pricier compared to its PC counterpart. Specifically, the Standard Edition costs $49.99 on PC, but sets you back $59.99 on Xbox Series X|S for the same version.
