Disneyland Announces Lineup of Holiday Entertainment

As someone who has been a dedicated Disneyland enthusiast for over two decades, I can confidently say that the 2024 holiday season promises to be nothing short of enchanting! The addition of Mirabel and Miguel’s shows, along with the return of classic favorites, is truly music to my ears.

Starting November 15, the Disneyland Resort will kick off its holiday celebrations in earnest, and they’ve shared another thrilling piece of news for those intending to visit the parks over the next two months. Throughout Disneyland until January, you can discover numerous new and returning entertainment options, including appearances by favorite characters and a chance to greet Santa Claus himself.

Every autumn, Disney parks quickly transition their setup from Halloween to a Christmas-themed wonderland, even if the official holiday season doesn’t start until around mid-November. The yuletide atmosphere at these Disney parks is truly enchanting, with decorations, exclusive character interactions, and numerous magical events across the resort. For the latter part of the year, the famous Haunted Mansion gets a makeover as Haunted Mansion Holiday, showcasing characters and scenes from The Nightmare Before Christmas. The holiday season at Disneyland will be celebrated this year from November 15, 2024, to January 6, 2025.

As a longtime Disney enthusiast, I was absolutely thrilled to learn about the exciting new holiday offerings coming to the parks this year! Growing up, I spent countless hours watching my favorite Disney movies and dreaming of one day visiting the magical world of Disneyland. Now that I’m older, I still cherish those memories and make it a point to visit the parks every chance I get.

These all-new shows join a variety of other new and returning entertainment offerings that include musical numbers inspired by mariachi, jazz, klezmer, Latin pop, fusion, polka, and other musical genres. In addition, guests will be able to meet Santa Claus in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for the first time. On select nights, guests can gather around the castle for “Believe…In Holiday Magic,” the fireworks show that will dazzle and delight with Christmas scenes and even a magical snowfall down Main Street U.S.A.

During the upcoming holiday season, the Disney parks will undoubtedly be the most enchanting and bustling destinations, much like previous years. This special time is filled with immersive and entertaining shows suitable for people of all ages. With the addition of new performances inspired by Encanto and Coco, this year’s holiday season promises an unforgettable experience. To add to the excitement, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open on November 15, which means you can expect large crowds and a touch of Disney Christmas magic all around.

Besides these enticing seasonal attractions, Disneyland is preparing for an expansion of its Avengers Campus region, with construction set to begin early next year to mark the resort’s 70th anniversary. The resort has also hinted at the comeback of “Paint the Night,” a beloved nighttime parade that originally made its debut in 2015, promising an exhilarating period to explore Disneyland Resort in the upcoming months.
