One Piece: 7 Characters That Deserve A 5 Billion Berry Bounty

As I’ve watched the world of One Piece unfold, it’s clear that power is directly linked to bounty. While any bounty in the billions is huge, the truly dominant figures of each era tend to hover around the 5 billion berry mark. So far, only three characters have reached that level, but with the Final Saga bringing out the strongest fighters, I think we’re about to see a lot more join them. It feels like the Final Saga will be full of characters finally breaking past that 5 billion berry barrier, and it’s incredibly exciting to think about who will be next.

Monkey D. Dragon

Current Bounty: Unknown

Monkey D. Dragon leads the Revolutionary Army and is incredibly powerful, ranking among the strongest individuals in the world. He previously served in the Marines but left after the God Valley Incident. Since then, he’s built a force dedicated to opposing the World Government, making him a major threat and resulting in a substantial bounty. His immense power further contributes to the high price on his head.

Dragon has taken the unprecedented step of directly attacking Marijoa – an act even the most powerful emperors wouldn’t risk. Because of this, his bounty should be significantly higher than a typical emperor’s. Considering his crucial role in the final saga and as the leader of the Revolutionary Army, a bounty of 5 billion berries or more would be appropriate.

Loki

Current Bounty: 2.6 Billion Berries (Special)

Loki, also known as the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, is currently the God of War in the world of One Piece. He’s an incredibly powerful figure, possessing the strength of the Nidhogg dragon and wielding the weapon Ragnir. His power is so immense that he’s capable of destroying the entire world.

Even with everything he’s done, Loki’s current bounty is only 2.6 billion berries. However, that was before the World Government learned he possessed the powers of the Nidhogg. Now that they know, his bounty will likely be much higher – well over 4 billion berries. Considering the danger he poses to the world, a bounty of over 5 billion berries would be reasonable.

Shanks is a powerful pirate and one of the Four Emperors, with a current bounty of 4.048 billion berries. While that’s a substantial amount, especially considering he only became a Yonko six years ago, many believe his strength warrants a bounty exceeding 5 billion berries.

As a huge One Piece fan, I’ve been thinking a lot about Shanks’ bounty! Considering he’s basically carrying on the will of Gol D. Roger – and Roger’s bounty was a massive 5.56 billion berries – it makes total sense that Shanks would be right around that level, if not higher. Honestly, many believe Shanks is even stronger than Roger and a bigger threat to the World Government, so I wouldn’t be surprised if his bounty explodes in the Final Saga and finally cements him as one of the all-time greats, potentially blowing past the 5 billion mark!

Monkey D. Luffy

Current Bounty: 3 Billion Berries

Monkey D. Luffy recently joined the ranks of the Four Emperors and now has a bounty of 3 billion berries, but many believe this reward is too low. Considering he defeated a pirate with a 4.61 billion berry bounty, and is now significantly stronger, his price should be much higher. As Luffy grows more powerful and influential, and with his identity as the Sun God Nika posing a major threat to the World Government, a bounty exceeding 5 billion berries would be far more appropriate.

The government is deliberately keeping Luffy’s bounty low to hide the truth about his identity as the Sun God, but this secret won’t stay hidden forever, and his real bounty will eventually be made public.

Silvers Rayleigh

The World Government most fears the Roger Pirates and wants to eliminate all traces of them, primarily because they uncovered the world’s true history. Rayleigh is incredibly powerful, considered one of the strongest individuals in the world, even among the Yonko. In his younger days, he was a terrifying force, surpassing most Yonko in strength. Even now, as an older man, he’s stronger than the Navy’s Admirals and possesses crucial, hidden knowledge about the World Government. Considering both his power and his secrets, his bounty should be at least 5 billion Berries, and likely even higher.

Scopper Gaban

Current Bounty: Unknown

Scopper Gaban, like Rayleigh, was a member of the Roger Pirates and learned the truth about the world a long time ago. He was a serious threat to the World Government because his influence could have sparked a massive revolt against the Celestial Dragons. Gaban is also exceptionally strong, rivaling Silvers Rayleigh and considered to be on the same level as legendary figures like Roger, Garp, and Whitebeard.

Scopper Gaban is renowned for his immense strength, demonstrated in Elbaf, which has established him as one of the most powerful figures at sea. This, combined with his close relationship with Gol D. Roger, justifies a bounty exceeding 5 billion berries, marking him as a particularly dangerous individual.
