As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for turn-based strategy games and a soft spot for RPG hybrids, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the release of Songs of Conquest on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X! After years of immersing myself in the PC version, I’ve eagerly anticipated this moment when new players could join the fray.
Today, Lavapotion and Coffee Stain Publishing have jointly revealed that the game “Songs of Conquest” is now available for play on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X.
Following some years in pre-release, the Steam PC edition reached its full version in May 2024, and more significant DLC content has been teased, namely the “Vanir” expansion yet to come by Winter 2024, offering a new faction, maps, and hero characters. The console release will provide a fresh opportunity for newcomers to experience the game; you can get a glimpse of it in the video trailer below.
In the game “Songs of Conquest,” you’ll assume command of potent spellcasters known as Wielders, embarking on an adventure through uncharted territories. Engage in turn-based combat against armies that dare challenge you, search for powerful relics and expand your dominion. The world is teeming with opportunity – conquer it!
