Original Fortnite Map Returning Permanently In December

Epic Games has revealed that the initial layout of Fortnite is making a permanent comeback within the game, with playable access starting from December 6 onwards.

The news confirms rumors from last week of its pending return.

The game’s official social media account announced, “This isn’t a simulation; Original Game (OG) is returning permanently! Re-experience Battle Royale from its origins, traverse the original map, gather vintage loot, and revisit OG seasons. Jump back in on December 6.

The confirmation arrives almost a year following Epic Games’ initial announcement about Fortnite OG’s return in 2024. Initially, no details were provided regarding the duration of the return, but it has now been confirmed as a permanent comeback.
