How to Get the Electro-Mecha Sword in Crimson Desert

The Electro-Mecha Longsword is a special weapon in Crimson Desert. It has the ability to shock enemies with every hit thanks to its Lightning Affinity. Players looking for a powerful and sharp weapon might want this Longsword, but be warned – it’s a challenging item to obtain.

If you want to obtain the Electro-Mecha Longsword, head to the easternmost part of Deleysia and locate Marni’s Outpost. Be warned, this area is full of dangerous robots and a particularly powerful boss called the Machina Knight. You can find details on the location and how to defeat the boss below.

You can find the Electro-Mecha Longsword at almost any time in the game, but we don’t suggest getting it when you’re first starting out. It’s guarded by a tough boss with two stages, and you probably won’t be strong enough to win the fight.

How to Get the Electro-Mecha Longsword in Crimson Desert

  • The Electro-Mecha Longsword is obtained from defeating the Machina Knight at Marni’s Outpost in north Deleysia.
  • The Marni’s Outpost can be found just north of the “K” in “Gorthak”, which we’ve marked above on the map.
  • There are no prerequisites to fighting the Machina Knight, and interacting with him will automatically give you the “Blade of Discipline” Deleysia Faction Quest.
  • While you can come here at any point in the game, including as soon as you start, we recommend holding off, as the two-phase boss is best reserved for middle-to-late game playthroughs.

The Electro-Mecha Longsword is a powerful two-handed weapon that deals lightning damage. Each hit has a chance to stun and shock enemies. Although you can’t upgrade it with Abyss Gears or improve its stats, its 27 Attack Damage makes it a solid option.

How to Beat the Machina Knight in Crimson Desert

Machina Knight with Marni Longsword

  • Machina Knight with Marni Longsword is a fairly easy fight, and it’s one where you have to master your parry.
  • Machina Knight with Marni Longsword will often go for a three-hit combo, and you can counter/parry each of these attacks with a well-timed L1 from either your shield or weapon.
  • Using Turning Slash (R1+R2) also cancels the Machina Knight’s attack, so we recommend going from Turning Slash to Parry, to Turning Slash to Parry, and repeat.

Machina Knight with Marni Spear

  • This is the second phase of the Machina Knight, and he’s far quicker and more likely to use invulnerable moves.
  • Machina Knight with Marni Spear should be evaded and dodged rather than parried, especially during his invulnerable phases, where he will attempt to fire seeking cubes at you.
  • As for damage, the strategy remains the same, and you should be deploying R1+R2 (Turning Slash) to deal the most damage and build his stun meter.
