As a seasoned farmer and a dedicated gamer, I must say that Farming Simulator 25 has been a delightful addition to my virtual farming escapades. The learning curve for newcomers might be steep due to the vast array of tools, machines, and crops on offer, but once you get the hang of it, it’s just a matter of rinse-and-repeat.
In essence, the fundamental gameplay in Farming Simulator 25 remains much the same as its predecessors, making it relatively easy for those who have played earlier versions to jump right in. Nevertheless, novice players might find themselves a bit overwhelmed by the abundance of machines, tools, and diverse crop options available.
To put it simply, the entire procedure isn’t overly complex. Once you grasp the steps needed to boost the output, it becomes a matter of repetition. Yet, it’s crucial to remember that the initial step involves buying the seeds for planting, which is key.
How To Get Seeds In Farming Simulator 25
In the New Farmer mode, farmers start with a few seed packets but will eventually run out. To get more seeds, simply navigate to the shop menu (use “P” on PC) and then look for the Vehicles tab. Once there, keep scrolling until you reach the Objects category, where you’ll find all the items related to soil.
After utilizing a machine for sowing, please click on the “Big Bag Pallets” and purchase the necessary number of packs. These packs will appear near the Vehicle Shop in town. Then, position your seed planter machine next to it, fill up the tank, and your machine is now set to sow seeds across the field.
At any point, you have the option to empty the seed dispenser device, after which the seeds will reappear in stacks (or pallets) once more.
The seed pallets include all the seeds for all variants of crops. However, they will only appear when inside the corresponding machine. For example, a Grain Planter will only show the seeds that are under the grain category, while a rice planter will only show rice.
As a gamer, let me point out something crucial: It’s best not to load seeds into a truck because once they’re there, they transform from their packed state and can no longer be used in a planter machine. Instead, those seeds are destined for sale, and they won’t ever revert back to their original form.
On larger fields, the amount of seeds used per crop can be relatively small when planted by machinery. This means that a full Big Bag Pallet could potentially cover multiple fields. Therefore, it’s recommended to begin with a smaller quantity and purchase additional seeds as needed.
Before purchasing seeds for your desired crop, ensure you possess the appropriate planting machinery. Keep in mind that certain crops may require specific harvester machines as well.
