If you want to save all the characters in Life is Strange: Reunion, you need to correctly identify the two people responsible for the fire. You also need to actively try to save as many people as possible during the fire while playing as both Max and Chloe. Specifically, Chloe needs to calm Safi down, and Max needs to ensure Noelle, Anthony, and Jeannette survive. As long as you name the right arsonists, Loretta, Owens, and Vinh will also be safe. To get the best ending and save everyone in Life is Strange: Reunion, you have to:

  • Accuse Ren of starting the fire as Chloe (saves Loretta and Owen).
  • Accuse Vinh of starting the fire as Max (Saves Vinh).
  • Convince Safi not to kill herself during the fire.
  • Turn on the sprinklers in the Custodian’s Closet during the fire.
  • Find and open all three valves during the fire.
  • Tell Noelle that Jeannette is in the Observatory during the fire.
  • Give Noelle a mask during the fire.
  • Use the wrench to break open the area Anthony is trapped in during the fire.

After Yasmin speaks at the Snapping Turtle, you’ll find out if you saved everyone. If you did, the memorial wall will transform into a wall of heroes, honoring those who helped during the fire. This location is also one of Max’s collectible photo spots. Don’t forget to find the last podcast collectible on the deck chair by the pier outside the Snapping Turtle and listen to it before finishing the game.

If you don’t follow all the steps correctly, a character will die and you won’t earn the “Super Max” Trophy/Achievement. Also, showing Max the photo as Chloe at the game’s end leads to a less desirable outcome where Max returns to the photo to try and fix things, leaving Chloe behind. However, if you burn the photo as Chloe after failing to save everyone, you can still achieve a positive ending for both Max and Chloe.

If you didn’t correctly accuse Ren, return to the “Chloe’s Decision” scene and continue from there. If you accused Ren but not Vinh, go back to the “Max’s Decision” scene and continue. If you’re still unable to convince Safi not to end her life, you may need to revisit the “Times in Turtle” scene, inform Safi about the fire, and then continue playing.

How to Save Vinh in Life is Strange Reunion

If you want to save Vinh in Life is Strange: Reunion, you need to blame him for starting the fire during the “Max’s Decision” scene. This will lead Max to the Abraxas house to talk to Vinh after Noelle stops Ren at Caledon University. There, you’ll discover just how risky Vinh’s plan to burn the skeleton actually was.

How to Save Safi in Life is Strange Reunion

Safi is a difficult character to save, as you need to choose the right conversation options as Chloe to help her. However, building Safi’s trust as Max earlier in the game can make this conversation easier. Specifically, avoid telling Yasmin you’ve seen Safi, and be sure to tell Safi about the fire during the “Times in Turtle” scene. Most importantly, do not accuse Safi of starting the fire under any circumstances.

Okay, so to rescue Anthony and the other students in Life is Strange: Reunion, you absolutely have to grab that wrench in the Custodian’s Closet while the fire’s going on. Then, you need to use it on the locked university entrance. It’s pretty easy to find – just head down past the fountain and look for the boarded-up doorway, it’s right near one of the valves you have to turn off.

How to Save Noelle in Life is Strange Reunion

During the fire, you need to get the mask from the Custodian’s Closet and give it to Noelle to save her. You’ll find Noelle right after the closet, so be sure to have the mask with you before you talk to her.

How to Save Jeannette in Life is Strange Reunion

To save Jeannette in Life is Strange: Reunion, make sure to look at the tutoring poster on the bulletin board before going into the Observatory. This will remind Max that Jeannette is still inside. You’ll find the poster partway up the stairs to the Observatory right after the fire starts and before you talk to the caretaker.

After talking with Noelle, give her the mask and be sure to tell her about Jeannette, as Noelle is the one who can save her.

While others, like Loretta, can be saved during the fire, accusing both Ren and Vinh beforehand will prevent them from being in danger at all. If you follow the steps to save everyone while aiming for the “Super Max” Trophy/Achievement, you won’t need to worry about rescuing Ren and Vinh.
