Is Stalker 2 coming to PlayStation 5?

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment upon learning that Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl won’t be gracing the screens of PlayStation consoles. Having grown up on the original Stalker series, and then eagerly waiting for Call of Pripyat on my trusty PS4, I was hoping to continue this journey on the same platform.

2024 is shaping up to be an incredible year for gaming, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about the arrival of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl on November 20! This long-awaited sequel to Stalker: Call of Pripyat promises an epic journey that I can hardly wait to embark on. It’s going to be one unforgettable adventure!

The game offers a chilling ambiance of tense survival, with scarce supplies of ammunition and resources. There’s excitement among many about tackling this challenge, yet there’s curiosity as to whether Stalker 2 will indeed be playable on the PlayStation 5.

Will Stalker 2 be on PS5?

Regrettably, Stalker 2 won’t debut on PlayStation consoles, and at this time, we don’t have any information about the FPS game possibly releasing for the PS5 in the future.

Stalker 2 is set to debut only on Xbox Series X|S and personal computers through Windows. It’s going to be available on Xbox Game Pass for both PC and Series X|S, but you can also buy it on Steam.

Is Stalker 2 coming to PlayStation 5?

As a dedicated fan, I’m excitedly hoping that my beloved experience with Call of Pripyat, which was previously played on PlayStation 4, could potentially be repeated on the PlayStation platform in the future. At this moment, though, there’s no official word about Stalker 2 gracing Sony’s console.

It’s possible that Stalker 2, like some other Xbox exclusive games such as Grounded, Sea of Thieves, and Hi-Fi Rush, may eventually be released on PlayStation 5 in the future.
