After finishing the ‘Animal Care’ section in the Heartopia Daily Life guide during the main story, you’ll be able to find and feed animals all over the world. There are eight different animal types, and to build a relationship with them and unlock new features, you’ll need to find their feeding troughs first.

Where to Find Bunny Trough in Heartopia
You’ll discover the Bunny Trough during the animal care tutorial with the Town Guide. If you need to find it later, it’s located just outside Art Street, southwest of the town center.

Where to Find Ferret Trough in Heartopia
If you head southwest from the Onsen area over the bridge, you’ll find yourself crossing the Rosy River. The Ferret trough is located a short distance south of that bridge.

How to Increase Animal Bond Level (And Weather Bonuses, Explained)
You can find each animal’s current Bond Level in the Animal Catalog, displayed on the right. Everyone starts at level 1, but the more you play with and feed your animals, the higher their Bond Level will become. As you increase a Bond Level, you’ll unlock new features for that animal, such as petting, brushing, and receiving gifts. You’ll also improve your chances of getting gifts, increase food storage, and have more successful interactions.
