In addition to these newcomers, the update also offers numerous enhancements to user experience, a refreshed main event, and an accompanying story to ensure both novice and veteran players continue to enjoy the game’s evolving world.
Before Wuthering Waves Version 2.0 goes live on January 2, 2025, players should take advantage of this final update to familiarize themselves with the current banners. By doing so, they can determine if the Resonators highlighted are worth their investment in terms of time and resources. Here’s a rundown of some key details regarding Camellya, Lumi, Yinlin’s return, Xiangli Yao, and their respective weapons.
Wuthering Waves 1.4 Banners Offer Two New Characters And Two 5-Star Rerun Banners
Wuthering Waves 1.4 Phase One: End of Lost Trail
The first character banner, End of Lost Trail, includes the following:

While she had already been introduced into the storyline, she hadn’t yet become a playable character. Luckily, Camellya complements characters like Sanhua and Danjin well, as these characters didn’t previously have an optimal partner. During this special event, drop rates for Camellya, Danjin, Yanyang, and Aalto are amplified. It’s worth mentioning that players can expect to receive a 5-star character within 80 Convenes, along with a guaranteed 4-star or higher item every 10 Convenes.

Notably, Red Spring is the sole novelty in the initial phase of the Highlighted Arsenal Gathering. However, keeping with tradition, all weapons featured will experience increased drop rates throughout the event. The Red Spring sword belonging to Camellya is unique to this Featured Gathering and can’t be obtained through any other method unless her banner reappears in the future. On a positive note, players are assured of obtaining their desired 5-star weapon on their initial 5-star draw.
You can acquire the complimentary 4-star Somnoire Anchor weapon following the completion of the Main Event in Version 1.4, known as Somnium Labyrinth. This weapon isn’t associated with any weapon banner.
Wuthering Waves 1.4 Phase Two: When Thunder Pours
The banner for the second character, “When Thunder Pours,” has been verified to contain the following elements; however, some adjustments might still be possible.

While this banner doesn’t introduce any new weapons, these choices are useful for players who already have Resonators.
